Menas your post reminds me of a windup that one can do in the office. Replace all the coffee with decaff on the sly and do so for around a month. Then one morning, replace it all with espresso :D

I have worse news for you. I've read rumblings of a new superband. Boyzone and Westlife together......torture of the highest degree.....feckin' torture. I only hope it doesn't go ahead.....
Hahaha. Its true I'm afraid. Well if you can believe Aertel:). RK said he is busy at the moment but its been talked about for the last few years, and he wouldn't rule it out. Time to plug the ears New Home:).....the horror......the horror.....

Well if it's true, I hope the first "gig" is in a Hotel in Drumcondra that's hosts boxing weigh-ins, and there might be a bit of a mix up.

Sharon, I hope you have a shave before you go at the box, cos if you catch one of your pubes in it, you won't be smiling for long:D

My crush keeps looking at me. Stop it! ONW cannot concentrate on anything.

Also TA is when you are telling someone a story and they not only interrupt, but also interrupt to seek clarification/make an exclamation in relation to a minor part. So you are telling someone about how you were chased by a crazed killer while you were in the woods and couldn't run very fast because you were wearing your wellies and you were getting slower and slower and he was gaining on you and....

"WAIT, are those the wellies I bought you for Christmas?" - what the actual. Fúck you.

Oh my good god. One of my best friends does exactly this, all the time. It is absolutely infuriating. I am consistently dumbfounded by his social stupidity.

    Londoners.

Had to stop off in London in my way over to Spain and my God, are people rude, unfriendly, mean and passive aggressive. I was struggling with 35 kg of luggage (am a very petite woman) and doing my very best not to get in anyone's way or inconvenience anyone. I'm an experienced traveller, i.e. not the type of person to stop at the end of an escalator or stand on the wrong side of it, or other annoying tourist habits.

Got on the train at Gatwick and asked a man occupying four seats with his luggage if he could move one of his bags so I could sit next to him (so I could keep an eye on my suitcase which was in the luggage rack) and he actually rolled his eyes, sighed and asked why I couldn't sit somewhere else. The train was almost full! And even if it wasn't, I paid for my ticket and could sit wherever the hell I wanted. He proceeded to glare at me for the rest of the journey.

Then when it was time to get off the train, I struggled a little bit with my suitcase (I'm talking a few seconds here) and the tutting and sighing started immediately. Not a single person (almost all of them were men) offered to actually help me, they just made me feel awful for holding them up for A FEW SECONDS.

And then dozens of other little incidents...what a horrible place. Everyone believes they're soooo busy and important, no time for anyone else. Ready to push people out of the way so they don't miss their tube train when another one will be along in ONE MINUTE. Horrible. I'm sure most of these people are OK as individuals but collectively, the atmosphere is vile! Went there feeling upbeat and happy and left feeling awful.

I was on the luas yesterday and there were 3 seats available in one of those "family area" of four seats. One on the outside was occupied by a little knacker with his feet up on the seat in front. Not in the mood for his bullshít after a day in work (and wearing stilettos) I simply pushed past him and took a window seat. He glared at me for a while as I got myself comfortable and put in my earphones then eventually gave up when he realised he wouldn't intimidate me. That didn't annoy me, he was only a fúckin pup anyway, but what did annoy me was the hoards of people standing in the walkway between the seats and at the doors who knew there were 2 more seats free in that area but were too chicken shít to actually ask him to move or push past him. Seriously people, that's how gobshítes like him think they can go around intimidating everyone, because nobody stands up to them. As soon as he got up and left (when a ticket inspector got on, quelle surprise), all the fúckin MICE came scurrying over to grab the seats.

Hope it's not that bloody yoke called plantar fasciitis. I had that for months before it went away. Get well soon

    My bra is annoying me.

Very few things more annoying than a bra that fits slightly weirdly or that's digging in somewhere it shouldn't.

Another annoying bra-related thing: a sports bra that's become too loose.
I bought a few sports bra back when I joined the gym and they've become so loose now; when I bend forward to do exercises, everyone can see the Mitchell brothers.
I keep hoisting it up but it's time admit defeat; it's time to buy new ones.
The stingy part of me hates it because they were €45 a pop.

    Oh another one.

    The sales girls at MAC.

No matter what country, they seem to be universally ignorant.

Walked into a department store in London and one of the MAC girls half heartedly asked if I needed help (after she'd finished doing her own eyeliner in the mirror). I said I was looking for a palette of fairly neutral shades. She asked if I knew the name and I explained that I wasn't looking for anything specific, that perhaps she could advise me. She replied again that if I didn't know the same, she couldn't help. So disinterested and unhelpful!

WTF? I've since discovered that you can make your own palettes at MAC, and that they actually do a palette of 15 shades which is exactly the kind of thing I wanted! I had a £100 voucher to spend there, and she actively discouraged me! Lost out on a fairly big sale because I went to Bobbi Brown and spent it there. I mustn't be pretty enough or glamorous enough for the MAC girls!

I had a similar experience with MAC before; girls are more interested in how THEY look.

But I had a similar experience recently in Boots.
I asked this girl who worked there if she could recommend an eye cream for me as I'd never used one before.
She shrugged and said "Sorry I don't know which is right for you."
    I left the shop.
And I was prepared to spend a bit too!

Have a look on Amazon - I haven't paid more than £20 for a bra (sports or otherwise) in ages and I'm currently an absolutely stupid size.

Also another one here that thinks that MAC goes out of their way to employ complete and utter wagons. Never had a good experience dealing with them and their foundations all look like orange cement on me no matter how light I go with them.

In fairness, the sales assistants in Boots are sales assistants working in a shop selling everything from toothbrushes to vitamins, not trained make-up artists like the ones in MAC, so she probably didn't feel qualified to advise you. One of MAC's major selling points is that their staff are supposed to be experts and have a detailed knowledge of every product. I was expecting them to maybe put a few shades on me and give me advice about what suited me, not just tell me I needed to know what I wanted! I could have gone into Boots and picked up any old palette!
