Hi Lads,
I have a question in relation to substitute licenses. Earlier this year I changed shotguns on a substitute licence. After six months of use I want to go back to the make and model of shotgun I had for years, I find my new gun a little heavy. I was wondering if I can get another substitute license on the licence I have now, which is a substitute licence itself, or do I have to start a new licence application. Just sub it back, and in the first section it asks if you have held a license on this firearm in the previous three years. You tick yes, give your previous cert number for the gun you want back, and include a copy of the previous license.

They then know you are simply changing back to your old gun.
