Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2015
Started off unemployed with lowest reputation and was hired by Pune FC in India. Finished 3rd that season after injuries derailed our title challenge. Contract was up and I decided to leave for something else.
2016
Spent a few months looking for a new job. Decided to join Albirex Niigata (Singapore) with 7 games left in their season. They were bottom (10th) and I got them up to 8th, and won the league cup.
2017
Left Niigata after the season. Applied for the Home United job, who are also in Singapore but a bigger side. Got the job and finished 2nd in my first season. Led a lot of the way before injuries to my striker and starting goalkeeper ruined everything. Also retained the league cup with my new team.
2018
Kept the exact same team, just added one or two backup players. We won the league by 3 points and it should have been more really. Crap scheduling had me playing games every 2/3 days near the end of the season which was awful.
2019
Lost my best player on a free after the season because of financial problems, those problems also stopped me from replacing him as well.
As I won the league, I qualified for the Asian CL starting in the first qualifying round. I easily beat Filipino side Kaya 4-0. In the 2nd qualifying round I was drawn against North Korean side April 25. I was 1-33 favourites, and that is when it happened. One of the most embarrassing defeats in my FM career to a team of North Koreans.
The 121st minute winner was jammy as f*ck.
If I had went through, I would have been drawn against a team from Vietnam in the final qualifying round. I was 2-0 against the Vietnamese champions in a tournament called the 'Singapore Cup', and I expected to qualify for the groups and sort out the teams financial problems.
I have resigned in shame after the defeat to the North Koreans and am currently looking for a new job. :pac:
Enjoying the new FM though and for a beta there aren't any big bugs that I have come across.0 -

When the teams you are managing don't have any money there's no messing about in transfer windows which saves a lot of time! The leagues in India and Singapore are short (20 games & 27 games) with multiple long spells of 2-3 weeks between matches, which take about 30 seconds to sim since my PC is fast. I've also sim'd about 10 months in total looking for jobs.

Spent 6 weeks looking for a new job before being hired by Indonesian Super League side Persik. They sacked their manager with 8 games left as they were hovering around the relegation zone when mid table was the goal. The ISL is ranked 17 places higher than the S-League, so it's a step up.
Disappointingly lost my first two games which dragged us even closer to the drop, before bouncing back with great 2-1 wins over 4th placed Semen Padang and 2nd placed Persib. 4 games left now and I'm 8 points above the drop. Last 4 games are against 1st, 2nd, 14th & 15th. Not safe yet!
The squad is huge (31 players total). I hate having a squad bigger than 22/23, so I'm going to let about 13 contracts expire. For the first time in the save I'll have €€€ to bring in players for my system. I estimate about €4k p/w savings getting rid of the deadwood and €7k p/w total when added to what is available currently. I'm excited

Random question what specs your computer have. I bought myself a new laptop literally for release don't and still only played 1 season. Although work and girlfriend have stopped me mostly0 -

Start of the 2nd season and I've brought in Pogba after swapping Juventus Cuadrado and £105m, the wages were a huge issue as hes now on £275k, he originally wanted 320K. I've sold Matic to PSG for 35m and Oscar to Real for 40m to somewhat balance the books. Other guys sold include Moses, Salah and Begovic, meaning I need a 2nd GK and the current AC Milan GK, Donnarumma came to mind, until Real signed him for about £2m so a few days before the new season starts and I need a decent 2nd choice GK.
Overall enjoying the game, I'll probably get another season or two under my belt before its properly released and I'll start a new save.

Didn't the two clubs have a falling out a couples of years ago over two youth players Chelsea took from Leeds? Maybe that's what it's alluding too!
Downloaded this last night and can't wait to get a game started tonight after work.....don't know who to start with - Parma, Carpi, Leeds and FC United are all calling out to me0 -
