Is this going to be the year ye finally get it together? Would be amusing for all the Wenger out brigade :)

If it can't be us I always rather it be ye.

I don't think Wenger in/out 'brigade' would be anymore or less amused.

We all support Arsenal, if we won a league this year I would sing from more roof tops than most!!!

Well it would be amusing for me in a way to remind the people (mostly my friends) who have been saying Wenger has to go/will never win a league under him etc for the last couple of years so so often how adamant they were in their opinion. Winding up your friends is an important part of being a football fan in fairness :)

A long way to go obviously, but it actually looks like there is some backbone in this Arsenal team.

Didn't really see the game today, but good reports from Joel Campbell's camp! In fairness, I had no faith in him, but his work rate was THE most required skill-set today. Let's face it. Aaron has been industrious, but offered little else offensively, Ox was poor on both counts... This guy has his chance, took it well. I look forward to seeing more of him now. Well done Joel.

Glad for Campbell, but I've a feeling if we do it this season, a few Rambo goals (which will definitely come) will be crucial.

Jermaine Jenas: "I personally think Arsenal are going to win the league."

Well said Jermaine. You've always been my favourite pundit. :D

Kos laughing his ass off after the little interview about his goal made me love him even more.

Reckon Chelsea need a manager who might win the odd game.

There's a fella at Leicester, he seems to be doing very well.

What the popular opinion on Vardy is he the real deal or is he a flash in the pan, I think maybe Leicester's team is built to get the best out of him, If he went somewhere else like Spurs Liverpool etc I don't think we'd see him flourish to be honest

This year's Harry Kane... who was last year's Michael Ricketts.

Disagree, think he's way ahead of Kane to be honest, but not convinced yet! he's defo a top striker at the moment (Duuuh) but he seems to have more to his game than the 2 afore mentioned! 8 in a row is pretty special too!

I would bring the words "Smug Bast'rd" to whole new levels! Whilst riding Giroud bareback! :pac::P

Who has the best Goals to minutes ratio in the BPL?
    Who has the most assists...

Just watched the highlights, very encouraging performance from Campbell, fair play to the lad

Campbell was awarded motm by Setanta today?

Didn't see the game today but if he can keep up that kind of work rate and form then brilliant for Arsenal.

Walcott is now a CF for us, Chamberlain has yet to prove his worth and god knows when Welbeck will be back who I still don't feel we have seen enough of yet.

    Campbell is a worker.
He thrives on his workrate and if he keeps up his progression he will be a permanent fixture in this team. He seems to have the desire and ability.

He's a trier and he has certain qualities but i can't ever see him being a permanent first teamer at Arsenal.

I'd be happy with a Christopher Wreh type season cameo to be honest.

As if Ozil wasn't likeable enough he is now growing 70s style sideburns :p

My favourite thing about Giroud's goal is the sneaky tug on Mertesacker's jersey as the corner is taken.

So was the whole team strange as it sounds.

People are right he probably wont be a starter but he is a good option at the moment with our injuries.

He did nothing wrong yesterday kept the play moving and helped defensively.

    brilliant
what we need are more players with poor work rate and dont track back

Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos ran rings around us in the CL exactly because they had a few Campbells in there.
This is what Kloop is bringing to Liverpool, increased work rate and tracking back by all players even the front men.
Sheff Wed did us over 3-0 , not because they had 10 Ozils, no because they had 10 Campbells.

He doesnt have to be an Ozil, just do a job and offer something.
If you REALLY watched the match you will have seen very few of Swanseas dangerous attacks came thru his channel.

Anyways great result. I dont care who plays at this stage as long as the 11 on the pitch turn up and try, if they do it will carry us thru this period with so many injuries.

That makes him a pretty good stand in for Ramsey.

We're pretty quick to call it one way or another in here though.

Let's just see where he is in a month.

    What the fcuk??

Workrate will see him do a job for now but unless he adds more to his game he won't make it in this team

Tracking back is not good enough to play for Arsenal

I think people are getting carried away with his performance yesterday which I said already as pretty poor

Tbh, without getting carried away, Rambo and Ox aren't really rock solid competition for that spot. If Campbell is solid and produces a bit going forward, he'll be a good option there for some games.

Maybe a good way if moving Rambo central to give Caz or Ozil a rest from time to time.

This is all until we buy Hazard in the summer of course.

I think yesterday showed how underrated Ramsey is on the wing
Both caz and coq looked pretty average without him tucking in and helping them

More than once you could see caz throwing his arms up in the air telling Campbell to tuck inside as he was been over run

Probably true, and I'm a big Rambo fan. Think he gets way too much stick for a guy playing out of position.

But again, we could be guilty of reading too much into yesterday.

Wenger said he gave the team time off from training during the week and it took them a while to get back up to speed - probably explains Sanchez's poor game too.

At the least Campbell has shown us that he starts vrs Bayern and on the weekend too. A big positive.

Let's just give him the starts and see what he can make of it.

I don't really see how his performance can be viewed as anything but positive though. Ideas do moving Bellerin or Gibbs into midfield are definitely gone for now.

The lad scores and makes no mistakes, puts a shift in defensively, receives man of the match and people here still find something to criticise him about.

Aaron Ramsey is certainly underrated on boards
