Can't see Dead Orbit winning this time round. Thought they tried everything last time giving NM the nicest gear, FWC the best guns and DO nothing. This time they've upped the ante given NM an awesome looking sword, FWC a real snazzy Fusion and Dead Orbit a f***ing Grenade Launcher, it even looks s**te

I probably wont be on to take part really but id still be going for DO, wanna try get the full gear set, missing the boots and gauntlets

The faction token farm on EDZ is a busy spot, constantly lads spawning in as your running back and forth. A tad boring but chatting away in a group you don't see the time fly.

440 tokens later have my full fwc set, not bad at all.

If it is still up on the weekend I'll probably kill some time there, but i'll probably try to actually play the game if I get on tonight/tomorrow. Some PvP, Nightfall, Raid etc.

Its a great farming method but I'm not that pushed about any of the rewards at this point. If one of the factions starts dropping 300 gear (for infusion) that could change my mind a bit.

Have the NM scout, auto, shotgun and smg. Not bothered about their armor for any class. (all from last rally)
Have the FWC Auto, Scout (I think) and Hand Cannon. Again, don't want their armor. Want the pulse though. (all from last rally)
Have the DO Auto, Scout, Scout, Hand Cannon, Auto, and Hunter Helmet. Not bothered about anything else. (all from this rally, 6 packages last night).

Head to to European Dead Zone and Load into The Winding Cove section of the map.

Head into the lost sector and clear it out. Collect loot from the crate (3 x tokens). Just above you, the exit door will open, head out and make your way up the corridor.. once you see the new sector name appear on the bottom left of your screen, turn around and head back into the lost sector room.

As you approach the door, it will open for you allowing you to re-enter and open the lost sector crate again.

Exit, rinse and repeat.

Once you get into a flow, you can get in and get out 3 times a minute = 9 tokens.

I expect this to be patched soon so make hay!!!

500 hundred per hour or something like that if you want to sink that time into it.

Its in the winding cove (EDZ), there is a lost sector there called the weep ?

Basically finish that, jump above the loot box open the door and move into the next section. Turn around head back and the door will re-open and you can open the loot box again.

reddit are saying 9 tokens a minute , did a run there this morning for around 40mins, stopped at around 500, as I'll get the rest doing power engram stuff.

The limit of 30 packages is still in place, and I believe aswell that tokens don't carry over

Up early today soloing the Drang quest. Got the exotic but carried onto the boss. Had him down to maybe 5-10% and he knocked me off the edge. Went into work seriously annoyed. Work hasn't improved my mood.

thankfully you only need to kill the servitor in that strike which is solo-able. Finishing that boss solo in the end part is a right pain in the neck.

I must go back and try this again. Connection issues were awful the last time I tried.

Started using some different weapons last few days, hrof kinetic smg with 2 counterbalance mods is ****ing unreasonably effective at close to medium range, reminds me of last word in a strange kind of way.

Halfdan-D I'm finding is a reasonable alternative to Origin Story, bit slower firing but serious range on it and slightly higher damage.

So have to assume CoO won't go live til that time.

Not happy with any dev that locks away content you pay for, for the majority of the release day. Should absolutely be live from midnight.

I've come to the conclusion Cadaye 6's Treasure Hunt is the most pointless thing in the game. Costs 20-25G, chests in far flung places, 15-10% there's nothing in them and 75-85% what's in them is crap.

Have a couple left over from EDZ & not opened any this week. I'm going to have those little ace symbols splattered all over my maps if this keeps up.

couldn't agree more, I did them for the first few weeks and the best I ever got was a coldheart, every other time I got sweet f all.

why anyone does anything but public events after the powerful engram stuff is beyond me

Just something else to eat up 'in game' time. Chance of an exotic or new emblem is the main reason I do them, and its not like I can't afford the glimmer anyways, not much else to spend it on.

Though on the exotic front I am getting near the end of them now, think I'm short 3 armour pieces for the warlock.

Exotic dupes are really irritating the **** out of me lately. How many times can I get Lucky Pants and Foetracer in a row? It's the 4th year of Destiny, can they seriously not get a bloody algorithm to mitigate for this?
