How do you get a Deer licence without a firearm? And how do you get the gitearms licence without the deer licence?

Or to be more clear what exactly is the process of applying for a for a Deer legal rifle and a Deer licence?

You pick out he rifle you want (deer legal caliber). You apply to the NPWS for the deer license using the serial number and caliber (plus other details) of the gun. The NPWS can issue you with a letter stating that you will be given the deer license or if it's in season the actual license itself.

You then use the license, or the letter from the NPWS stating you will be granted the license, and send a copy of either in with your FCA firearm application form. Once granted (firearms license) you collect the gun and go shooting.

Thanks, I suppose I should work on the land first and then worry about the rifle!
