Yep ! But it does enter via the skin so its not impossible to think voltrol could too

It could but it's an NSAID and how effective it is depends on where it's applied.

Fentanyl is a whole different ballgame in terms of strength.

The physio just gave me some exercise to do twice a day, which i have been doing.
He did say that the cold damp weather would make it worse.
The accident happened in May so apart from the initial pain after a car accident i have been ok
    How ever
shoulder and arm feel stiff and cold all the time since November/December.
Its very tiring as i work full time.

If your physio didnt do any hands on and just gave you a excersies sheet. Then I would be looking for a 2nd opinion.

For mild strains and sprains I find the Voltarol extra strength gel very good too, but if it is a longer term / ongoing issue I would recommend getting to the source of the problem with a physio/specialist.

Yeah. I think I’m taking nonsense there. Testosterone, nicotine and opiates can all be delivered by patches.

To be fair all of those drugs enter your entire system via the skin not a local muscle.

Mind you, just pointing out a difference. I'm not saying nsaid gels don't work. I'd assume there's some half decent studies done by now

I think the proof is in the pudding for me anyway . I have no doubt that Voltrol gel helps my tendon pain

thanks guys going to look into voltarol or diclac , cause was running on hard ground for too long :)

An oral medication is much more effective.

Ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory, will help greatly with your issue.

Diclac is so so, works well alongside ibuprofen for injuries to shoulders, neck, lower back.

    Deep heat...... Utter placebo
