Not a car that fits the thread, but I can imagine there are parts on that worth more than that.

€150 for the car just to put the engine in my MX5? Hmmm...

Nope. No where to hide it...

That W211 is some find. Tax and test seem to be genuine. 2 owner car (in this country) too. No interior pictures unfortunately, but if it is as described, I'd happily drive it.

Is it just me..or is that front grille made from chicken wire?

    s-l225.jpg

If he had just done a bit of plastidip to de-chrome the original...

It's a funny one, another one of those cars that looks like it was designed by different people who didn't communicate.
One angle - "oh, yeah I like it!"
Another angle - "ay ay ay, no me gusta!"

To me that dodge avenger looks like a more sportier skoda octavia from certain angles.

Yep - was on the lookout for a car for my in-laws after their 98 Audi A4 finally gave up the ghost after hitting over 400K miles.

Hoping I don't jinx it now buuut.

Thanks to whoever spotted that - fair play for sharing it you got me a hell of a lot of brownie points with the in-laws (here's hoping no problems show up later)

It was everything that this Bangernomics thread is about - guy selling it was an obsessively careful owner, gave a detailed history on every lightbulb, screw or nut that had ever been changed and had receipts for everything. I think he must have driven the car while hovering around 1 inch off the seat because when he said in the ad "no wear and tear on the leather" he meant it. He let it go for 1300 as well. All in all a fantastic car for the price.

    Cheers Bangernomics folks!

9-5 is a very comfortable, very pleasant place to be in. But beware it is very far from a drivers' car!

    2.0 primera m6 sport. Nct 7/17
Hypertronic cvt transmission which isn't bad reliability wise as long as Nissan spec oil is used. 6 speed sequential option too.
    Sr20 engine 138bhp
    Looks clean
    Dealer selling it.
    Asking €950

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,728 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

CVT is a belt driven gearbox so it can't be sequential.
    Different drive settings is guess.

It has pre programmed ratios to give that effect. It was quite the innovation back in the day! In that all the car mags mentioned it..

It's pretend so the driver can feel manly and bounce off the limiter if desired.
