They are as close to completely harmless as makes no difference. Cardiac arrest from a house spider bite results from an anaphylactic reaction, and not from the toxicity of the venom. Just bad luck getting bitten if he was allergic.

Do you have as extreme a reaction to the presence of peanuts? Just in case (a) somebody in the vicinity might have a peanut allergy and, (b) might inadvertently eat one? No? Didn't think so.

I don't usually kill spiders or bees, we really really need bees but if the spiders die after I put em outside that's just tough sh1t.

Wasps, moths and flies are fair game. I usually spray hairspray on them, so they can't fly, then it's the glass-and-card treatment and down the jacks with them.

I used to live on the upper floor of a Georgian house, so I left the windows open from April to October, and never really had an issue with winged insects of any kind. But in my parents house I used to be plagued with moths at night for some reason. (I mean I know the reason, I had the light on, but I don't know why they were so prevalent there and not anywhere else I've lived).

Moths can fúck right off, I do without so I can afford proper wool and silk instead of acrylic and polyester, I'm not letting those baxtards feed it to their babbies.

Ugh, I hate them, but I'm really squeamish about killing them. So I usually just leave them be.

I had to kill a daddy long legs the other night because he was in the middle of my bathroom floor and I'd only have ended up standing on him in my bare feet in the middle of the night. So he got squished into a Dettol wipe, and into the bin. Yuck. I could here him crunch as I squished him, or maybe I imagined that. Anyways definitely got no pleasure or satisfaction out of it.
