It sure is. Though by 3:20pm I'll be wishing we had another week off!
    Myhill

    Kolarov Evans Martin O'Shea

    Pedro Mahrez Sanchez

    Aguero (C) Gomis Diouf

Subs: McCarthy, Darren Fletcher, Muniesa, Silva (injured)

Hopefully get through this gameweek without losing too much ground as I have a feeling it'll be a tough one with Silva out, Evans perhaps not starting yet, Myhill possibly being dropped (though I'd be shocked if he was) and Diouf doubtful.

    Fabianski

    Lescott Targett sagna

    Y Toure Payet Sanchez Ayew

    Gomis Wilson Aguero

Sanchez captain (hopefully the gamble pays off)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,009 ✭✭✭kronsington

Considering the 2-5-3 chip wih this lot. Can't decide who to drop of Depay/ Payet.. Thoughts?

    Myhill
    Sagna Darmian Williams
    Depay toure Pedro Mahrez
    Wilson Aguero (c) gomis

Could drop Williams and bring in Payet for the 253

    Is rooney injured??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 810 ✭✭✭fermanagh_man

After my disaster off picking Mitrovic in GW4, I'm probably going to go with sanchez as captain

But then Antonio from West Ham, who I think will be a fantastic signing - is tempting- only risk is whether he starts or not

Rooney might have hamstring injury BTW

Starting a Masters today so my FSA time likely to be severely limited over the coming months. Hopefully will still get on to share my inspired captain picks though.

GL to all in GW5, the week where the big hitters strike back.

Was going to take a bit too get Silva out. But think I'll just play Westwood instead. Doesn't sound like it's any half serious injury. If he's even injured. Probably just an excuse to start KdB in his preferred position and rest Silva ahead of the Juve game.

    Begovic
    Kolarov Darmian Francis Gomez
    Sanchez Pedro Ayew Mahrez
    Aguero(c) Ighalo
    (McCarthy Watmore Souare Silva)

Did Courtois --> Begovic after the extent of the injury was revealed. Silva's injury is a kick in the nuts but hopefully Gomez can get at least 2 points.

Edit: All my players bar Mahrez are playing today

    Myhill
    Shaw Kolarov Huth
    Pedro Sterling Ayew Mahrez
    Aguero Benteke Wilson

    McCarthy, Gomez, Fletcher, Saylor.

Have 3.5,4.5 or something crazy in the bank.

I have you in the first round of the harps cup. Don't know how I'm expected to win with your remarkable run of captain choices.
    I line up
    Myhill
    Richards kolorav Martin
    Pedro sanchez ayew Chadli
    Wilson aguero vardy

Before last night I'd have advised you to drop Depay, now that Rooney isn't playing I'd keep Depay on and drop Payet. He'll be pushed forward into attack and might do something today for you.

I have myhill and Mccarthy but I wouldn't risk both of them if on wildcard.

That is a really tough shout. I'd probably leave out Huth but even if you asked 100 people you'd get a massive variance in responses.

    Butland
    Shaw Kolarov Francis
    Sterling Mahrez Payet Hazard
    Aguero (c) Gomis Sakho

I'd bench Mata or Sakho quicker than Ayew.

interesting ......regarding my defence do ye think the 2 cheap defenders from Norwich and Bournemouth are the best options
I'd have liked a west brombrom lad but ollson is the only 4.5 and he seems likely to lose his place ?

Evans is probably the way to go for West Brom at 4.8 IMO. Dunno if you can find those extra .3

Silva's injury has given me a headache...

My choices are pair Albrighton with Mahrez, or bring in Gomez and play 4 at the back, I already have Shaw.

My gut is telling me Gomez and 4 at the back as it's likely to be a tight game. Then again, Albrighton and Mahrez could run riot.

Holding Silva so need to pick 2 from Richards (lei) Gomez (mnu) and Surman (bou). Opinions appreciated.

Have .2 in bank but could raise an extra .1 by moving targett out or Bennett
I'm on on plane now so need to decide :D

I can't see Villa keeping a clean sheet and I think United will struggle to find the back of the net. I'm expecting goals from both sides in Bournemouth's game, so I'd go with Gomez/Richards.

Kinda disappointed that my team is looking pretty templatey after wildcard this week but at least I have a differential in Shaqiri. Line out like this:

    Begovic
    Shaw Kolarov Martin
    Mahrez Sanchez Shaqiri Ayew Pedro
    Gomis Aguero(c)

    McCarthy Wilson Evans Targett

Was planning on playing bench boost this week as there were a few tough calls and all should be playing which might not be the case for future weeks (e.g. Targett) but you're not allowed play bench boost on same week of wildcard which I wasn't aware of.

Kind of got a bit screwed over by no price rises last night due to the site error which was a pity but ahh well come on Shaqiriiii

    Unless Wanyama scores three.

Even if Rodgers told him personally this morning that is what he intended on starting with its obviously not confirmed. So annoying how people do that guess its just to make it seem more important or whatever.

Its weird that he is still getting the teams once it emerged his source was good you would have thought someone at the club would get it shut down. Seems very unprofessional of whoever is sharing it and being a fan why would you share it so early and give the opposition that extra info?

Rightly or wrongly I've decided to leave things as they are. Sanchez could crucify me now but if Silva is back next week I want him for those fixtures. Darren Fletcher is on my bench for a reason and I don't want to half heartedly use my WC and 2 transfers to play with could be enough to fix a few issues next week.

    Ruddy
    Huth - Gomez - Kolorov
    Mahrez - Hazard - Ayew - Silva
    Pelle - Wilson - Aguero (c)

Mac: Fletcher - Bassong - Mings

I used to get the Sunderland team news the day before games a few years ago when someone I knew had a link to one of the players (he never told me which one it was). It was only wrong once if I remember correctly.

I do agree with what you're saying though. Rodgers could change his mind last minute, someone could be feeling ill etc so it could change.

Should I play O'Shea or Surman?

O'Shea IMO, though some will say Surman I'd imagine.

If Advocaat plays Borini on the left side I think Sunderland's defence will start to tighten ten-fold. We are getting attacked so much down our left hand side because PVA is exposed more often than Katie Price's tits. Borini does fantastic defensive work there (as did Wickham last year) which helps so much.

Though he could also play Borini as the main striker and then that problem isn't solved. Go with your gut. :)

Chelsea XI vs. Everton: Begovic; Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry, Azpilicueta; Mikel, Matic; Pedro, Fabregas, Hazard; Diego Costa.

Everton XI vs. Chelsea: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Stones, Galloway, Barry, McCarthy, Besic, Barkley, Kone, Lukaku.

12 transfers made. 3 of them between 11:30 and 11:45 this morning. Profit chasing wise, the WC has not really paid off. Even taking into a mass of rises predicted tonight, only looking at maybe 0.3 - 0.4 across the international break.
