    I'd feel more secure having Victor Anichebe captain week rather than Rooney at this stage,:eek:

    I'll still struggle to sell him before the Newcastle game.

    Rooney & somebody to Aguero and anybody. He's been awful the last 2 matches. Shouldn't even be in utd's team the way he's playing never mind my own.

    This Rooney no show reminds me of the main debate of this week about Rooney away poor performances at Villa Park for quite some years now... So does he have a mental blocking there or not :p?

    he also has a great record against Newcastle
    sellers beware... I should know .......I could not take another minute of him in my team before the Newcastle home game after Xmas last year.....

    Rooney is a disaster. He looks a complete lame duck. Dropping him for sure. Mata is the united lynchpin.

    Poor start 2 from 1 player. Ah well, at least I had sense not to captain him. He loves scoring against Newcastle but I can't even be arsed leaving him in
