It was quite tidy, yeah. I would have taken some pics but it was too dark by the time it was bought.

It is a gem, not a thing wrong other than the headunit isn't overly secure :)

    For sure.

Very good. I wouldn't worry about the head unit. When I bought the E36 it came with some head unit which wasn't even plugged in and when I plugged in mine, it died there and then.

The cage hasn't the tabs pulled out properly so it moves about a bit, I'll sort it in the morning :)

On the upside, my typical journey to Galway takes circa 1hr, maybe 1.10.

I made it home there in 40 mins, not once breaking the speed limit. Overtook twice and met about 5 cars in the whole journey. Love driving when there is nobody about to frustrate you, and you have the road to yourself.

Ditto. That's one of the reasons I'm happy to work permanent nights: getting to work takes 35 minutes. Same trip during a day - at least 55 minutes. :)

Actually I was just thinking there as I was watching Viva La Vlog that it will take you ages to get used to going over speed bumps at a normal speed :) as your gone so used to crawling over the bumps and having to suss out whats too high with the BMW to stop it scraping too much.

Any more pics of the jetta?

Took a picture of it just for you! :p

Gave it a clean after I took the pic but it was dark by the time I had finished. For a car thats now 10 years old the bodywork is quite good on it! The biggest issue is the alloys - they all have minor kerb marks on them (then again, I got them cheap and were the only set I came across on Donedeal / Adverts).

What about a picture of the inside :)

Its hard to keep cars clean at the moment unless you clean them every week. I did mine Monday and while its not filthy now its certainly not clean and thats not even a week. Ah its better when its dirty away it hides the scratches and stone chips :pac:

I race a bit of everything but this will be a Fiesta RallyCross car. A pure monster pushing out around 60+ bhp

mind yourself driving such a powerhouse it might try and do wheelies on you and flip you over:D

naa but seriously plenty of cheap-ish fun, great handling and decent power to weight ratio once its stripped to the bare bones :D

    Ahh two days off.

    Can't bate a V8 for getting home fast :)

Hadn't washed the focus since the NCT about a month ago. Decided to polish it up between today and yesterday. Nearly every time I leave the car an extended period without a wash, there's a mark or something new. Today there was a tiny indent at the bottom of the rear left door, about an inch in length that went from the door to the arch, about half an inch on each, paint isn't broken though. What annoys me most is that I don't know where or when it happened! Only noticed it when I washed it. Grr.

There is something very nice about being off on a Monday and Tuesday I remember working shift during the summer and coming home on a Sunday evening to a few days off it was great. Everyone depressed about going back to work and you off it was great :) I actually don't mind working weekends once I get the odd on off my record was 5 weekends in a row working which was pushing it a bit.

Unfortunately today is the last of my Christmas holidays back to college to my last semester the end is in sight after 4 years in gone so use to being a college student now it will be wierd for it to suddenly end.

    When do ye finish up?

2nd or 3rd week of May by the time the exams are done and final year project is finished all going well. I'm starting work 7th June just after June bank holiday. It will certainly be a massive change I'm sure I'll be broken in easy but still. Ah I can't wait but in someways will be sorry to be finished college in others I'm delighted to be finishing you know that kind of way :)
