    Hi all
after a few nights out lamping charlie and getting wet from the waist down from lying down behind the gun Im looking at buying a trousers for the job. Waist up I have a deerhunter fleece (waterproof )for the milder nights,10x jacket for the rough nights and harkila prohunter boots at the bottom end (totally waterproof and breathable).
I kinda have it narrowed to 3 trousers but am looking for opinions/suggestions on these, features I'm looking for are, waterproof/pockets/warmth. Also these will be used for rough shooting .

    1..seeland marsh

    2..deerhunter ram 2g reinforced

    3..deerhunter recon reinforced.

    Thank you

I don't have either of the Deerhunter ones you listed above but am currently using the Deerhunter Montana trousers.

They are excellent for wind, cold, etc. They have a high back which i find is excellent and missing on other brands (keeps the back warm, high up, or when bent over cleaning out deer). They are waterproof as i put them to the test two seasons ago when i had to belly crawl to a low bank while stalking a deer. Crawled through puddles and mud and then held up excellently. Multiple pockets, elasticated waist and adjustable straps on the ankles.

So if the ones you listed above are of the same quality you shouldn't be disappointed.

i have the pro hunter trousers , while good if they are damaged walking through broils they loose their "waterproofness".

this is especially true if walking in long grass/barley fields.

i have the seeland marsh, seeland linfield, harkila pro hunter.if id to pick one for the job your doing seeland marsh.they are what your looking for by the sounds of it.great for bashing through briers as they are well reinforced.harkila are a serious pant but only suit cold weather.well i sweat easy so maybe just me.The linfield a good for this time of year light and waterproof.so great for summer showers but wouldnt suit the heavy stuff they would tare very easy.Or any other good combo is 5.11 tactical pant with wax pull ups.But if you want one seeland marsh all the way.
