Same here, we should just pick it and be done. This debate will go around in circles otherwise and there is no way to keep everyone happy.

Glad to see the entries rolling in now again. Looks like the strict deadline has pushed those sitting on the fence over the line, sometimes people need a little motivation. This is why i was not a fan of constantly pushing out the deadline. If people really wanted to join, they would make the effort.

Yeah, there are two camps on the monthly prizes, one for 20 and one for 40 so the fairest thing is to split the difference at 30 and be done.

In fairness the big prize is what will draw people next year. A league is more prestigious with a big 1st prize. People will not be falling over themselves to enter a league with €40 monthly prizes, there are lots of free leagues that offer better monthly prizes than that. They will be drawn however to a league with a 1st prize of €800+

40 is definitely too much I mean winning a month really means nothing. At the end of the season a club isn't going to go but yeh we scored more points than anyone else in September how awesome are we!

First place should be well rewarded and I think that the monthly prizes should be €40 each instead of your €20 back.

Better option for all concerned as monthly prize has worked well last few seasons at €40 especially now given the size of the prize pot.

Regarding late comers joining, it is great to juice up the pot, but I certainly don't agree with it. For something like this the deadline should be before a ball is kicked in the premier league. Anything else is open to abuse. One possibility is a player who registers 4 or 5 teams and then picks their best team/panel. That for me would give a massive advantage. You could see how teams set up and whether players like Gomez and Yoshida at 4.5 for example get their game/ditch the team with Courtois etc etc

I'm not saying that anyone is doing this or similar, but it is not beyond the bounds of possibility and for me anyone who joined after GW1 is slightly tarnished as a result.

There are 100s of banks, online banking etc, so I can't see how people couldn't get the money transferred on time like the rest of us. There was over a month to do so.

It would be interesting to take an average of on time payers and late payers after GW1 and see which number is higher. My money would be on the latter.

I have taken everyone's team id to avoid this.
