That was happening to me last week, turning the phone on and off again sorted it. Since yours has already rebooted it might be a different issue to mine though.

I tried that during the weekend but still lagging
Then the reboot happened whilst I was using the phone yesterdey

Clearing the cache has helped me in the past with this, in settings - > storage

However I am having similar issues myself. I imagine a factory reset would help, but that's a pain and really I need a new phone as this one is more than 2 years old, has been used heavily during that time and I have to charge twice per day.

I know it doesn't help the battery but I usually have mine charging in work and never go anywhere without my power pack
Tried to clear the cache also...didn't make much difference.

Yes I'm having the same problem with lag aswell. Rebooting fixes it for a small bit but it always returns.

I can't let mine go more than 4/5 days without a reboot. Other than that it's fine.

Mine has started acting up a lot over the last couple of days. Serious lag unlocking the screen and general usage. Extreme battery drain. Trying to avoid a factory reset also. As others have said..reboot sorts it but only for a short time. Tis a PITA now so investigating/pricing replacements

Time for us all to replace to 5T next month if rumors are true?

Mines still running fine so its not effecting everyone just yet. Battery a bit weaker but that's it.

Just out of interest, who on Vodafone network gets the 4G sign for data. I only have ever gotten H+ I'm wondering if I ever had 4G.

Are you on prepay? They seem to turn off my 4G every month before I top up and I always have to ask the reps on here to reactivate it.

Yep prepay. I have only ever had H+. It's fast enough the reason I'm only wondering about it as I'm back from holidays where I bought a local sim and I was getting 4G.

I'd say it's the same issue I was having, either give them a ring or get on to them in the forum here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1270

Hi all, as per my previous post with lagging One Plus 2 phone, it is still happening. So gonna do a factory reset. But want to backup my apps first - anyone recommend an app for this and a link to what steps to follow? Also, will this mean that when I reload the apps on my phone, I won't have to set up the username and passwords on my phone for the apps?

Anyone ever have issue with phone jack. My ear phone won't go all way in so I have to keep my finger on it for it to stay in. I opened up phone to see was it damaged or anything blocking it but it looks ok.

There is obviously something wrong with it even if you cannot see it as that isn't normal.

My phone app switcher has stopped working. Amazing how inconvenient this is. When I click the right bottom button to bring up all recent apps I just get 'your recent apps/items appear here'.

Anyone had this problem and fixed it? I did a reboot but the problem returned after a few hours.

Well I sold my Oneplus 3T a while back and defaulted back to my Oneplus 2 and I always updated to the latest update available. But the phone kept lagging like crazy. I sat beside a girl on the train and I was watching her fly through opening and closing apps and switching between apps and I said there is something seriously wrong with my phone. I was thinking it is time to upgrade.

One time on Android I used to flash different ROM's all the time so I said I will flash cyanogenmod but they changed their name to LineageOS so I flashed it and the phone is like new which leads me to believe Oneplus are deliberately hampering phones so you will buy the newest maybe they are not who knows all I know is the phone is like brand new now. I know I only flashed the new ROM a few days ago but I will give it a month and if no slow downs they were deffo hampering the phone.

I'm very much a rookie with this stuff - if I flash Lineage OS will it wipe the data on my phone?

What data? Like pictures and stuff then no but you have to do a full wipe anyway as you do not want old files there when flashing a new OS anyway as it can interfere.

Then no? First step of unlocking the bootloader will wipe, before you get anywhere near a custom rom.

Oh yeah I forgot about that I always do that as soon as I buy a phone.

Well an update on this for who ever is still using one of these phones. After 2 weeks of use no slow downs compared to when I was on the OxygenOS from OnePlus the phone was extremely sluggish which leads me to believe OnePlus were deliberately hampering the phone so you would go out and buy the latest which I was all set to do until I started thinking this was a top spec phone when it came out so there is no reason it should be sluggish so flashed LineageOS and it's like a new phone. I would totally recommend you do it if you are still using this phone.

How do you flash it? Never done anything like that before.

The OH is using mine for a few months now and it's working great still. It has every Rom going for the year I had it. Now it just has latest oneplus Rom.

Might be worth a try doing full backup then reset and update.

You can get them here https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/rom-mirrors-official-oxygen-os-roms-ota-t3209863

I wouldn't go near the OxygenOS. From my experience of using this phone it slowed down on OxygenOS. And I install very few apps and do a complete wipe when installing the lastest version. In the end I got fed up with the phone stalling like car running out of petrol and flashed LineageOS and no slow downs and I have it installed a few weeks. One or two minor bugs though but nothing major that will affect usage.
