Well it's been a long process but I'm delighted to say I got the call today and I'll be starting in the diesel class on the 23rd.
Best of luck to everyone else still in the running.

Congratulations! Can I ask did they literally phone or was this confirmed with an email?

You'll never make a train driver if you can't even be bothered to read how to go about it.

I'll break it down for you:
Apply online and do a few tests.
After passing, sit a few more online tests.
    More tests in test centre.
    Medical.
    Interview.
    Job offer, start training.

Anyone from the regions hear anything yet?

Would anyone here who's done the interview be able to tell me who there interviewers were ? Thanks.

There were two parts. The first was to go through the personality test and answers you gave in the assessment. That was with one person - Danielle
The second part was a panel interview.
It was with three people; a HR Representative, the District Manager and the District Traction Executive. Only got their first names. Laura, Ed (I think) and Don respectively.

Thanks for the information. Did you do your interview in Dublin ?

Yeah in Dublin a few weeks ago. Then I had a medical and haven't heard anything since.

There is currently one Dart and one Diesel course running (due to finish in Sept), I believe there will be further courses starting in a couple of months.
Anyone who has had an interview/medical may hear then.
Or if you've done just an interview or just a medical you may be called then to complete the process.
Ensure you don't have any holidays booked as they don't allow time off during the course. (4-5 Months)

Called for interview on June 12th.

I won't be going as I accepted a new job and my bmi puts me out of the running so there's no point in wasting anyone's time

If you really wanted the job you should go. Clearly you are capable since you have the interview. Plenty of time to address BMI if needed.
