Fergal, if you're tempted by rags and sticks, a wooden 505 dinghy restoration would be a lovely project.
I'm sure there's a few knocking around in need of some love and fine skills!

I got this old Ford steering wheel on eBay for a few quid.

Sanded it down and gave it a few coats of lacquer and a bit of a clean also made up a Glastron logo.

Cold early morning spin out on the lake.

But thanks to Giles and Jill onboard Hawthorn for making my new cover at least I didn't have the wind chill.

Looking pretty I might even camp out on her this year.
