A few heavy showers but overall not a bad day. Temps still below normal with a max today of just 17.9c. Nearing the end of July now and i fear the Summer is going to slip away with similar conditions into August

It seems to be a pretty localised effect between Loughlinstown and Shankill and to a lesser extent Bray and Dundrum and only when the winds are S to WNW which luckily is quite a lot of the time.

Grand day up until a short time ago here near Tralee, clouded over now with drops, see on the radar light rain moving inland in the SW, the heavier stuff from about midnight on clearing to showers in the morning here , emptied my rainwater tanks in preparation for the rain that is forecast ( possibly 25 - 30mm ).

Three cool nights just gone by here, 7.9C Weds , 4.9C Thurs and 7.1C Fri early morning

Got up to 17.9C but back now to 14.6C
