Are day not free so to speak?

Well, you give me €10 and you can have them for nothing. Can't say fairer than that.

"The Company Has Gone Under", Mundys next album title.........if it sees the light of day!!!

I'm sure most of you have noticed how 'coy' these artists become when asked to value their 'stock'.

Couldn't be that they are worried about the lads up in 'The Gate' listening in surely.

    Surely not:eek:

I thought they paid no tax, as 'artistes', anyway.

After some research on the web scouring backed up security camera footage last night I found some "exclusive" footage of Máire from yesterday at the dating agency:

If you've never seen it, the above is taken from BBC's "Nighty Night". Highly recommended comedy. :D

Full link....as the above link won't work for some reason:

    Dunno,
No one I know says maidrín or madra.
    It's pronounced maidín or mada.

Yeah but the "r" is silent.......

My favourite piece of Connemara Irish is "an bicycle" (no "rothar" here). And then the Tuiseal Ginidach becomes "mo bhicycle". Never mind using an English word which contains a letter not used in the Irish language, but then to apply Irish Grammatical Rules to it. Genius!

I suspect however snubbs that you and I are the only people on Da Lahv Lahn thread to be able to continue this as Gaeilge, mar a déarfá*

*for all you heathens, that's "so to speak" in Irish...so to speak.

I remember asking my Irish teacher why we had to learn all these different dialects, when we learn English we don't have to learn Cockney Rhyming Slang etc...she got into a right two-and-eight and said I had a right Gregory on me

The only suitable reply one can leave to that is:

    Aw'rite Guv'?

The cost of school books and having to buy new copies and editions each year. What costs are you facing in to?

I'm out. Nothing of interest there for me. I'll do something more productive like count the number of saline drops that drip from the tube to the syringe in 75mins..........

Da Lahv Lahn should come with a "may contain nuts" disclaimer.
