What new rules would you impose on After Hours?

(2) A "Random thoughts" thread, for people to post their random thoughts. Besides being useful on its own, also in an attempt to stamp out the endless amount of nonsense threads being started.

I was recently kicked out of a faeces forum for saying diarrhoea is better than regular poo because you can do it in the sink. I'll just sign up with a different name. they can't silence the truth.

One forum where it's 'PC' for want of a better phrase, and regulated and modded etc beyond belief, where one group of the posters can hang out, and anyone acting the pup will be banned on sight as they knew where they were, another where you just say whatever you think and no one can complain that they find something offensive as they knew what they were in for when they hopped the fence, and they'll be banned on sight. I'd get rid of a lot of the rules tbh. AH was more fun when I joined Boards in 2007/2008 and the site wasn't so terrified of controversy that it shut down any debate which resulted in any form of conflict or even just banter.

That's a pretty good idea. There should be a section on Boards where anything goes and you can have a laugh without the mods breathing down your neck.

Ban anyone who asks for links to back up very basic common sense. Who could be bothered researching information to point out the painfully obvious to someone else? Sure if it's a direct clarifiable point like "x public figure once said this" or "this once happened" it's necessary but stuff like "Oh! Well have you got links to prove that old people die???" etc is just an effort to frustrate conversation in the hope they'll wear you down with their pedantry.
If it continues it'll end in "I can't let you continue this conversation unless you come to my house and express this point to me via interpretative dance" etc.
