It'd be interesting to know how well other itv regions do. slight increase for UTV from last month, but generally holding its own.
RTE ONE is down 6% from last year, last year it took the majority of the GAA games, with RTE2 up 4% from last year, in total RTE down 3%.
TV3 up 42% but that is to be expected as be3 is down 62%, with 3e up 23% from last year, with no really change to TV3 down slightly from last year.
In total Irish channels (ex UTV) were down nearly 3% from last year.

RTE up 5% month on month
TV3 down 7% month on month

A bit unrelated but I really hope Red Rock isn't axed. If 3 don't want it, I hope RTÉ pick it up.

I don't see 3 going into TV drama production. ;)

Looks like a really low audience for Rose Of Tralee. Or is that it's normal figure anyway.

Big jump for Catchphrase on TV3 - around 150,000. Don't think there is any more new episodes though, but I'm sure they'll revert back to showing Series 1 for the 14th time.

With the exception of sport and soaps, and the Rose of Tralee everyone of those programmes is a repeat.

That is a disgrace - has RTE gone on holiday?

Yes every August and pretty much in hibernation in 2017.

    I was a 2% increase on last year's viewership which in-turn was a 10 year low.

    Has Xpose been axed yet?

Just going to a 3 day week on TV3. I assume it will be Monday, Wednesday (they said Thursday) and Friday as Coro moves to 6 eps per week, 3e Xpose has been dropped.

One imagines Yates and Cooper should easily retain VinB's ratings, given competition isn't exactly cut-throat at 11 p.m.!

Any official start date? TV Now and other magazines and websites had it flagged to start this week, and the same for next week. Not heard much about it in terms of promotion on TV3 yet though

They had said the 19th but for some reason the schedule all put it down as the 13rd and then it changed again. Pat is back tonight.

Great figures and history there. Look at that Dallas rating for TV3 - around 540,000. Crazy.

It'll take me about a week to go through all the rest. Some good digging around for that PDF Elmo.

I know that my Aunt watches it at 5:30, partly out of habit as she spent years looking after my Granny who always wanted the news. May people who watch TV news watch from 5:30 until about 10, they are like soap viewers. (partly because of Judge Judy also which is one of their top preforming shows). 5:30 news has 100,000 average audience, later news programmes never really did well.

Something point to on several occasions here on boards. When TV3 won the rights to the RWC the only part of their site that mentioned it was Xpose, as they don't have a sport site.
Sorry for the late reply but I feel the TV3 website could do with a proper news site.

Yeah great opportunity with the new set to have a proper news/sports site. And now that they have 6 nations.

BAI recently published an international report showing that TV3 was nowhere for online news content.

Always annoyed me that they often say at the end of bulletins and end of VB that for more of tonight's show, log onto TV3.ie
In reality there was nothing of anything extra on the site, apart from a replay of the programme that went out.
