Does anyone know how long now the motor factors is closed down? It's becoming more and more like a ghost village every time we go up there...

Quite a while, the owner seems to have just done a legger. Still plenty of activity around there, long way to go before it gets ghostly.

Didn't it move in with another business across the road next to the Hairdressers ?

It did, but after a while the guy running the place said he'll be back soon or something like that, and vanished.

Oops......its sad, traditionally the pub and the butchers are the heart of a 'village' and now both are gone

closed for renovations and then never came back!

To be fair I went in and asked for a W5W bulb and was looked at like I had two heads!

Their prices on some stuff was mad too.

But then again I suppose that isn't their fault if the rents there are insane, they have to try and make it back somewhere.

It's laughable when you look at the money lost by the management of the town centre. There has been plenty of businesses looking to take these units, some of which remain unoccupied since 2005.but the rents asked for were ridiculous.
