    Aibohphobia? :)

That was on University Challenge recently. I'll hold off in case anybody else remembers it.

Haven't heard of it before but I'll hazard a guess at 2nd of June between 10 am and 11 pm.

Wrong time of the year but you're on the right track.

I'm guessing it's mole as in mole poblano the dish, and note mole as in the animal or the skin growths, so I'm guessing it's at midnight on the 1st November.

I just read the mole poblano recipe...oh my!

A mole as in the chemical unit.
It is linked with Avogradro's number of 6 x 10^23. From those numbers you may be able to figure out the date.

I always regarded Avogadro's number as being 6.02x10^23 - hence my guesses.

Ah for heaven's sake Corkgirl! Easier quiz, as in, not so difficult. Chemical moles pshaw! :D

    6 till 10 on the 23rd October...

That is what I say when I see anything to do with history...

I'm going to give it to you.
6.02 x 10^23 gives us Mole day on 23rd of October from 6.02 am to 6.02 pm
Now ye know when to celebrate! Make your Poblano

A lad around here who writes Pub Quizzes always says about his quizzes " the questions are easy but the answers are hard".

Or there's no such thing as a hard question when you know the answers.

    To keep things moving:

Question from Corkgirl as hers wasn't answered.

Question from Garancafan for actually knowing the formula and being closest to correct :)

    Ah yes there's a question -

What is the origin of the word 'drat'?

Aaaagh I knew this one as it came up in a pub quiz but can't remember the flippin answer, its something to do with a religious thing and a twist on the words

It's a condensing of an old swear by god of some sort but I can't remember what it was.

    Drat!!!!

The seasonal song "O Holy Night" was originally in French. By what titles (there are two) was it originally known?

The lyrics are very different but a very old French friend used to sing a hymn of the same tune called Cantique de Noel.
