I've actually bought a PS4 nearly exclusively to get this, and am fairly psyched for its release.

For anyone on the xbox one looking to buy the digital copy over the last week, Good News!

It's now available again to preorder.
Digital deluxe edition is €99 for the game and season pass. Perfect value to me if you're going to be playing it for the year!

Bought it there myself, just in case it mysteriously disappears again!

Apologies if this has been asked already but if I purchase the pre order on the PS store can I get it at midnight here or am I better off buying it in the shops?

Is there any benefit to buying it online over in store?

AFAIK new games bought digitally on PSN become open/unlocked at 00:01 on the release date, so you can indeed play them at midnight. Just make sure there's enough funds in your wallet for the purchase to automate and you're golden. I've done it a few times with other games so I assume it's the same with CoD

If you like to own a physical copy or want to get a hardened edition etc, then buying in store is the way to go. If not then there's no reason to not go digital. I think maybe one other reason for choosing physical over digital is because of added refund option maybe? Other than that I see no reason not to buy from the PS store, it's just so much handier.

Usually the hardened editions of cod games (around 100 quid whenever I got them) came with season passes.

Think I saw an advert in GameStop, although if going on past releases the first run of product usually all have the bonus maps in them so you should be ok in Smyths HMV/xxtravision not sure about Supervalu and Tescos it should be printed on the box.

If you can wait until the Friday its out then I would say Supervalu will have it cheap like they did last year and think they had a decent price on FIFA this year when it came out, I would say Gamestop would be the most expensive!

Beside my pre-order it says auto-download date is the 5th November, no time given though. (PS4)

Ouch. Don't think my internet will do it in time. Might be a midnight trip to xtravision so. I wonder will there be a big update at launch

Hopefully when they say the 5th they mean midnight, so it gives us a full 24 hrs before the game is playable to have it downloaded fully

Only hope would be independent game shops I see Ali A posted a video saying some people have it 2 weeks early,also Nuketown is basicAlly the same as black ops 2 2025,.

on the uncharted remastered people said you can get ganes early using simplygames and some other site. they post them often too early. that being said, I only received my copy on release day

Hi all. Apologies if this has been asked already but does anyone know if there is definitely a steelbook edition for sale in ireland and if so which shops are stocking it/making it available to pre order? Amazon. Co.uk have it for preorder but I'm not sure if i can trust them when they say; "click on standard delivery for release day delivery"!

I loved the beta but found it to be a right balls until I unlocked a few things

I think all your stats from the beta are wiped.

Have it preordered in smiths but there's no price on the receipt so I don't have a clue how much il have to pay for it. Any know how much it is in smiths ?

I preordered from Simplygames about 3 hours ago, the option is definately there.
On the product page it has a Green 'Pre Order' button on the left. (just above the 'days until release' counter)

I've ordered from them as I am confident of them sending it early.
I got Uncharted Collection 2 days early and could have got it even earlier if I had ordered it earlier!

Hardened edition unavailable for preorder in hmv as it's now sold out. Had to just order the normal version instead. . .no steel book for me this year!

Priced BO3 for PS3 in HMV on monday. The guy said it is showing up at 65euro.

65 for BO3 on PS3 with no campaign and nuketown is not available for PS3 either is a complete rip off. Has anyone else priced it in other shops for the PS3?

I reached the GMP a few weeks back still think AW was better then Ghosts as once I finished the top prestige in Gbosts I just dropped it. But I'm really enjoying 4v4 ranked play on AW specifically Search and Destroy. But yeah can't wait for Blops3!

Got an email today from Sony saying that my digital pre-order has been cancelled on ps4, so I had to re-order it. Looks like they bulk cancelled everyones orders, not sure why yet, might want to check yours if you ordered digitally on ps4

That's weird I pre ordered in April on PSN and I can see it in my library with the timer beside it but the blops3 image beside it is missing and if I go on the PSN store and look at the blops page it doesn't recognise I have it pre-ordered and therefore I could re order it which i don't want to if in case they charge me twice!

Update Actually just checked my email and yes I got the cancellation to, so it looks like anyone who pre-ordered it earlier this year will have to re-ordered it again, at least they did it now I would hate to miss out on the pre-order bonus Nuketown map etc. Thanks for the heads up! Roll on Midnight, this day next week, can't wait to start the Prestige Grind!

I'd imagine that every day one edition of the game will include nuketown, regardless if it was pre-ordered or not. Think that's usually how its done

Wooops! Got it shipped to Ireland. I just paid the 2.50 postage. Still worked out at 57 euro all in. Which is pretty good value.

Got mine shipped to home also as it was my first order and had to be to the billing address. If it is sent Monday from UK it will be here by Friday at the latest

To give you guys an estimate:
I preordered Uncharted Collection from Simply Games and had it delivered to my Parcel Motel UK address.
I ordered on a Monday afternoon and it was waiting for me to collect in Waterford early on Thursday morning. This meant I received it a day earlier than its release.
If you are in/near Dublin maybe it would take even less time to deliver. This was my first order with them so it had a slight delay when they emailed to confirm my address. Parcel Motel will also deliver to the box on a Saturday so that is a nice safety net of a few days to receive it.

They had started shipping out orders of Uncharted a week before its release so some people got copies days in advance.
They may not be able to do this with COD if they do not have the copies yet.

I'd say it could be touch and go if you get it before release, i'd hate to take the chance personally, that's why I went for the Digital Download this year.
I did read last year and this might have been on the Xbox One, that if you purchased digitally from say Japan, Australia that you got to play it 10 or 11 hours earlier (when they hit midnight in their timezone), downside of that is that any camos etc that you bought later would not work when you played on your irish account, this happened to me last year when I bought AW off the US PSN store!
