I wore cycling shorts this afternoon as I went for an 80k spin through the Taunus hills. Lovely to get out there and test my new bike. Ended up waiting at the local tavern for over an hour though as my partner couldn't keep up with me. Used that time to get a shower and have a glass of beer.

I'm the same, Corfu in 44 degree heat, I couldn't give a fiddlers, no way I was wearing shorts of any description.

Nothing against 'em on women though, just sometimes the butt cheeks hanging out can be a bit off-putting alright, but other than that, some women look fantastic in 'em

Please gentlemen, leave the short shorts to leggy young women. There's altogether too many men wearing short shorts, maybe they started wearing them as kids in their GAA days and just never broke the habit, but they look awful. Ladies, if the man in your life, husband/boyfriend/son etc owns a pair of these, please for the love of God, burn them(the shorts).

I've an image scarred on to my retinas of a chap jogging towards me in a pair, he wasn't wearing underwear and 'it' was poking out the leg.:eek: Some things can never be unseen.:(

Outside sports, never.

But there should be a special place in hell for men in cycling shorts not on a bicycle.
