Edinburgh beat us in our first game of the season, we can't possibly leave Edinburgh without 4 points, easier said than done, they've beaten Glasgow & Ospreys and ran Ulster close so we're going to be in out top game there.

Last night was a mixed bag but once we got our act together we ran in 6 tries, not often we've done that.

Ya that first game was a terrible game to lose really
Going their at full strength with POC, POM and Murray back in the side would give confidence tho

When it comes to the big games, I hope Earls is at 13. He's a better winger but the team is better with him in the centre, on the ball as much as possible. He's so so good.

Had a look at the game again last night. It was a strange one. Starts with carty kicking as good a penalty as you will see, to be followed shortly by kicking the ball out on the full, to be followed an immaculate kick into the corner. It was like that for the duration of the game. And its simply not good enough at this level. He also really needs to beef up. He just doesn't have the physical presence.

Its funny how games can hinge on a moment. Just after the break if jack had flung the ball wide there was an overlap for a walk in try. Then a missed touch that brought the game back into the Connacht half rather than been inside the Munster 22.

The Connacht game was highly attritional with the focus on possession. As such it was not surprising that when Munster started springing replacements our lads just didn't have the gas left to compete.

It was surprising to see our lineout struggle but kudos to Munster for making it difficult. Thought Rodney had a really good game and Denis really should have got motm

Buckley was very good, particularly in the first half, but Stander was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch; he was close to untouchable with ball in hand.

No complaints about the result, just didn't have the depth to match Munster at the end and wasted a couple of chances in the first half and early in the second when we ventured into Munster territory. Really missed a bit of experience and creativity in the midfield.

However, not getting anything against Munster in Thomond is not going to define the season or be the reason we don't get 6th / 7th, so not going to worry too much about it. Credit to Munster, and for the love of God beat Edinburgh off the park next week! :D
