buying a air rifle with someone else

    as above im thinking on buying a air rifle with my brother,will the two names need to be on the receipt as we both will be getting a license,or does one name do on the rifle.

    One of ye apply for it first, get the license then the other can apply as a joint license holder. Much easier and much simpler to do.

    As for the receipt if you do the above then you only need one name on the receipt. If you both apply for it at the same time it can get complicated, and you may need the name of each applicant on the receipt.
