gun dealer in Dublin or Tipperary

Hi,

I am helping my dad sell his guns as he has retired from shooting and is now worried about keeping them round the house.

I am wondering if anyone knows a good dealer in Dublin or Tipp whom I could leave them with while he finds a buyer ?

One of the guns is a 1909 Lewis which we think might have a more specialised market.

We have no interest in selling privately I'm afraid as he is an old man who would like the peace of mind of leaving them with a dealer.

On another note would anyone have any clue if there would be an issue with me bringing the guns to them or would my dad have to bring them in as the registered holder ?

Your Dad would have to as you've no license to have the gun in possession.

Anyone is selling more than Stakelums at the moment. The shop is in a rut, and it's a damn shame as Sean (lad the runs the shop) is about the best RFD i've ever dealt with. He is strangled by Stakelums (the company) and their actions are slowly leading to a closing of the shop. Whether they know it or not.

ya hes lost all interest in there they have him in the paint more than the guns,the worse thing they done was move out of urlingford (bergins),it was the best for getting a deal b4 stakelums took over
