    Well go into the Vodafone store, tell them you want the FREE phone,
    but that you want the SIM-only deal for EUR 35.
    If they try to give you an inferior package, be sure to remind them the phone is free - so giving you an inferior package is apportioning the phone cost over the life of the plan. It ain't free.

    Yep, valid call out - should have said no up front charge on the phone as opposed to free.

    Still trying to make the decision on whether to buy something like the OnePlusOne and get a SIM only contract or go for something like the HTC One M8s - but as you point out getting tied into a 24 month contract as the price to pay for no up front cost.

    Guys, quick question , which phone to get - Vodafone Smart Prime 6 (720p display, 8mp camera, android 5.0) or Galaxy Core Prime (800x480 display, 5mp camera, android 4.4) ? Both are same price and I can unlock both free of charge with my billpay account.
