not too busy at 7am, you can move around between the machines you need.

1pm and 4pm are not great, always quite busy, if you could go at 2pm it would be less stressful

the big drawback with this deal apart from the dirty never cleaned shower areas, is not being able to pay with 3 direct debit cards or different visas - asking strangers to take this hit for you is a big drawback. even if you register and pay at the desk in the gym you cannot get around this - it takes a lot of trust.

It takes zero trust. I've done this for the last two years. The three meet up at the gym, one pays with credit/debit card and the other two hand him over the cash. All three enter their membership details separately on the device in the gym. Nobody gets to see any details other than their own. Where's the trust problem?
Also, I'm in Northwood and the shower areas are clean. There's usually a staff member around cleaning.
