Worst alcoholic drinks you've ever tasted?

Pretty much what the title says, what are the worst alcoholic drinks you've ever tasted? 2 drinks stand out for me, Molson Canadian and Desperados. Molson Canadian is the only beer I've ever encounters that really lives up to the whole "piss" stereotype that many cheap lagers have, it genuinely seems to taste like a Miller that someone took a piss in to me. Desperados on the other hand, I don't mind a sweet drink, I like a bit of tequila, but the sweetness combined with the taste of tequila tastes awful in my opinion, one of the clubs I frequent has this on special offer for 3 euro a bottle, every now and then I'll buy a bottle of it for some reason, with a lime it's somewhat drinkable, but I always end up throwing it out or giving it to someone else before the bottle is even half done. Warm Bulmers is another one, not a fan of Bulmers even when it's cold, but at least it's drinkable then, but when Bulmers is warm, it has a "sweaty" taste off it which is totally disgusting to me.

Friend of mine once handed me something to drink, foolish me for trusting him, I took a sip and nearly choked to death! It was his terrifying concoction known as "Bucksinthe"

What's bucksinthe you ask? It's easy to guess! That's right, Buckfast and Absinthe.

I've made a concoction similar enough to that before, 2 shots of poitin in a glass of Buckfast. Didn't end well, didn't taste too bad though, I remember it as pretty much tasting like Buckfast with much more of a kick.

Not my brightest idea, that was the only time I ever drank poitin, and I have no intentions of ever going near the stuff again.

Donkey's Bollox, a combo of everything in your parent's cabinet mixed up and sucked into ya at the speed of light. Cue blind drunkenness and vomiting extraordinaire.

Shots of absinthe and poitin, both were absolutely horrible but I'd say the absinthe was worse just because it had a kind of liquorice taste which is absolutely putrid to me. Never again, won't even do shots of tequila anymore

I tried a beer called Asahi. It was about €3-3.50 for a 500ml bottle and was vile.

That and Harp. The first half of a can of Harp is ok but the second is horrible. It doesnt stand up like regular beers.

The first time I had poitín it was at the end of a long day of drinking, a friend's stag night. I just glugged a few mouthfuls from the bottle without being aware of what I was drinking and there was a slight delay before I felt the affect. My friend said it was the first time he saw me cry (well, with extremely watery eyes).

Taste-wise, I really don't like tequila or slivovitz, but I'm not a fan of gin or rum either.

Tequila- Any drink that has to be accompanied by salt and lemon, two fairly unpleasant tastes all on their own, to make it go down easier is not good in my book.

Bols Advocaat- Made from egg yolks...glad I didnt know that at the time!

Never had a problem with a gin and tonic myself, throw a lime in it and you've basically got alcoholic 7-up. Wouldn't bother with them though, gin is nice enough on it's own, don't see the point in paying an extra 2.50/3 euro to water it down. I'd rather just sip straight gin on ice. Or more commonly, go for a martini.

Same boat. The smell of it will set me off.

Desperados is sugary nonsense made in France! I guess people like it 'cause it's sweet, cheap, has "tequila" and a slightly higher abv than other pissy beers.

My personal review of that stuff is here - http://boblawbeerblog.blogspot.ie/2011/04/desperados.html

Sambuca is my kryptonite + not a fan of JD either.

Most of them. I really hate the taste of alcohol.
I usually like something mixed with coke, champagne and fruity cocktails.
Yes I have the palette of a child.
I still don't understand how ppl drink beer. The smell and taste of it is god awful.

I usually drink whiskey, but sometimes beer/cider. Heineken is just awful anytime I've had it.

Tequila is a bit of an acquired taste in my opinion. I disliked the stuff when I started drinking it, and would pretty much describe it as tasting like paint stripper. I liked the idea of drinking it though, so I continued to drink it, and I can genuinely taste complex flavours as you would with whiskey or gin now, it just takes time to get used to the overpowering flavours.

Gin, drank a lot of it one time and even now the smell of it transports me back to that terrible night...

Unicum, a Hungarian herby aperitif. By God that stuff is vile.

    Prairie Chicken-
    Gin
    Raw egg yolk
    Salt and pepper

    Taste awful.

Devils Bit, Druids, Scrumpy Jack and an endless list of other cheap cider. The stuff is death.

Yeah campari can be tough going. Try a Negroni: one part gin, one part campari and one part sweet red vermouth.

Asda value lager. It tasted as bad as you'd expect even when chilled. Even worse than Dutch Gold.

In Mexico once I was looking at beer menu in a bar and being the adventurous type i ordered a "Michelada" which is a concoction of beer, spices, pepper, sauces and salt. I managed about one sip before I puked.

Tequila i just can't stomach at all and is the worst i tasted.

Have it as a shot - guaranteed puke every time so i stopped.

Mixed in a cocktail - guaranteed puke every time so i stopped.

Mix it with 7-up - guaranteed puke every time so i stopped.

Given a bottle of 'real' Tequila from Mexico - puked 1 time and gave the bottle to a group of drunks on the street.

Aftershock is absolutely rotten. A mate spilled his shot of that on his black jeans and it bleached the colour out. God knows what it does to our insides.

Its an artichoke liquer. Tastes worse than it sounds and is a major Italian liquer somehow...

I generally claim that I could drink piss out of a wellie so long as it gets me drunk but then I tried Grappa. Foul stuff. It tastes and smells how I imagine surgical alcohol to.

I would have to +1 for Grappa, horrible horrible stuff and the after effects were nastier :(

Blue mixed with red bull is delicious. I'm not even joking. It's like nectar.
