Is it important to you that your OH gets on with your family and you with there's or do you do your own thing

Yes, of course. I would pretty much echo what Karsini said. This is a girl, who I obviously hope to be with in the long term, so it would be important that my parents accept her, and the same with my siblings. Their opinions would be important to me. Of course, she'd need to get on well with them, and visa versa. If not, then I don't know what I could do.

I always got on quite well with my brothers. My sister and myself pretty much hated each other though, it's only in the last 4 or 5 years that we've been on talking terms. I think we're OK now. :)

The way things are goin with me, they won't have to worry about gettin on with the parents.
Im the youngest. Brothers and sister all married. One gettin married next year.
By the time my time comes, if it ever does, the parents will be in the ground id say. Im not sayin that to be horrible, just that's how it's lookin.

That's a shame you didn't get into Trinity. But sure, you can always apply again, can't you? At least with the role you've been offered, it will provide you with great experience, which will no doubt prove beneficial for your future career.

I would love to whisk you away, but it's unlikely that there would be white sandy beaches and clear blue water.

Ah yeah it's cool, I'm not too surprised like, the people that came to the interview were all working in psychology jobs presently and i working in a coffee shop, obv pick the person with the relevant experience.Yeah I might try again, this is the experience i need to help me get on to these type of courses

I got a conditional offer for an MA in Trinity today. I'm really happy. If I don't get the other scholarship, I'm going to take it. Sorry PM you didn't get yours but it's a lot easier to get an MA place I'd say. I need my second reference now and to upload all my years of results. Looks like all the hard work paid off :)

Congrats Eternal! That's brill news! Delighted for you! :D

I didn't go on it. Some other poster said to me one night that I was after a farmer. Don't know what gives that impression.

I told my sister that I got a more than likely chance at Trinity and she said 'OMG you're going to be president.' Hahah. She hasn't a clue.

I am stupid about politics. I couldn't even talk about it for five minutes. Of all what she had to come up with that was pretty funny tbh.

I suppose she meant that anyone that goes to trinity must be brainy or will have a good career in there chosen subject.
