Well known? People do this often enough for a particular symptom to be well known?

Yep! Health forums have loads of queries about it. Seems odd but seems to happen frequently enough - a lot of it is toddlers drinking the berry/fruit scented ones.

I believe there have been instances in the past where washing up liquid was purposely added to food to temporarily incapacitate or cause discomfort the victims.

Put some washing up liquid in a couple of glasses to wash them, forgot about it and after pouring coke into one of them was drinking away on it.

You didn't put a drop of liquid into each individual glass did you? We're always running out of it in my house cos the eeijits here keep wasting it. I mean it's cheap enough to buy but just annoying to keep running out of it.

One pea-size drop into the sink with some water will wash all your cups & dishes. Anything else is overkill.:pac:

I'd say lemon coke would be good.

Nothing will happen to you though, unless you drank mouthfuls of the stuff.

Washing up Liquid is probably more healthy than the coke.

Thought it tasted funny and it had quite a head on it.
What are the consequences of drinking washing up liquid?

    Lemon scented,by the way.

Snap, reminds me of primary school when the kids used make the 'suddy' tea for the teachers
