Put some washing up liquid in a couple of glasses to wash them, forgot about it and after pouring coke into one of them was drinking away on it.
Thought it tasted funny and it had quite a head on it.
What are the consequences of drinking washing up liquid?

    Lemon scented,by the way.

Look on the bright side, your colon will be squeaky clean.

If it was more than a small drop or two, you should really speak to a doctor.

If it tasted nice, sure you may as well have some more.

If there's even a miniscule amount of washing up liquid, that is to say even so much as a nanometre of washing up liquid in my glass. I will taste it and I will kill it.

I think you will be ok if it was only a small amount, maybe just drink lots of water to flush any of it out of you

Sure didn't we all eat bucket loads of the stuff when playing doing the dishes as kids , its like 'clean dirt ' , you'll be grand .

And if you do survive, just for future reference, don't lob the washing up liquid into the glass first. You're making more work for yourself. Put some water in first, then it will dilute a bit and take less time to rinse.
Or...just rinse the glass with water
    Or...dishwasher!

Drink a glass of milk to neutralise it. Don't vomit.

Cant see a whole lot of problems. At least you'll be clean inside

Washing up liquid or houshold soap are non toxic, although they can have a laxative effect when taken in large enough doses. So, it depends on how much you drank.

Yep! Health forums have loads of queries about it. Seems odd but seems to happen frequently enough - a lot of it is toddlers drinking the berry/fruit scented ones.

I believe there have been instances in the past where washing up liquid was purposely added to food to temporarily incapacitate or cause discomfort the victims.

You didn't put a drop of liquid into each individual glass did you? We're always running out of it in my house cos the eeijits here keep wasting it. I mean it's cheap enough to buy but just annoying to keep running out of it.

One pea-size drop into the sink with some water will wash all your cups & dishes. Anything else is overkill.:pac:

I'd say lemon coke would be good.

Nothing will happen to you though, unless you drank mouthfuls of the stuff.

Washing up Liquid is probably more healthy than the coke.
