    €20 Double - Don Cossack (Ryanair) 5/1 & Don Poli (RSA) 5/1

€20 Double - Dodging Bullets 4/1 and Silviniaco Conti 11/4 (not great value on either in hindsight I admit)

€10 Double - Douvan & Don Cossack 13/1 (boyles special)

€10 acc - Annie Power (mares) 6/5 Douvan 9/4 Doni Poli (rsa) 5/1 Don Cossack (ryanair) 5/1

€10 acc - Faugheen EV Sire De Grugy 7/2 Saphir De Rheu (world hurdle) 8/1 Silviniaco Conti 3/1

€10 acc - Jezki 5/1 Dodging Bullets 4/1 Rock on Ruby 10/1 (world hurdle) Silviniaco Conti

    €20 single - Carlingford Lough 10/1

I know I've mixed it up a bit in some races, but on the day I'll be siding with SDG and Jezki in their respective races. Probably Saphir De Rheu in the world hurdle.

Doubts about appearance, if he's going anywhere Paddy Power strongly suggesting it is the Supreme. Stands to reason, Gigginstown have nobody for it and they have Outlander for the Neptune. Mullins also said McKinley for the Neptune.

Balls, I'd high hopes for McKinley in the supreme.

Have you decided on who your 2/3 big bets are going to be on?

Decent bet Bumper, Kings Palace and Coneygree could do a right job on themselves.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

Very Wood was going to be one, regardless of where he went. I like him. A lot.
He is still 16/1 for the RSA. This still represents value, imo.

There is one other for Wednesday in the novices and I'll stick him up here the night before. Not a tip. Just my only other fancy of the week at the moment. He's not a huge price so value gone but I'm backing him anyway ew

I gave up that ante post lark for yrs as I never won much, and was definitely in the red by a wide margin. But I saw this fella in October win that beginners chase which has a record of chucking out an RSA type and mentioned here before his last run so chucked a bet on the RSA as the price looked value. He still has to turn up on the day. I generally stay away from ap as I said, I've a collection of ap bets in a scrap book at home as a testament to many a poor bet over the years :)

I don't like doing these sort of bets but I am leaning towards a Faugheen, Vautour and Sire De Grugy treble...... I think Vautour is banker material in the JLT.

Arkle: Sgt Reckless 25/1 & Smashing 33/1, both ew NRNB Boyles

Neptune: Tell Us More 20/1 (goosed) & Nichols Canyon 6/1 NRNB Boyes

Ryanair: Cue Card 8/1 & Ballycasey 12/1 (poor) both NRNB Boyles

World Hurdle: Zarkander 9/1, Beat That 12/1 (NR), Briar Hill 25/1, all NRNB

Albert Bartlett: No More Heroes 10/1 NRNB Boyles, Martello Tower 16/1 Ladbrokes

    Gold Cup: Djackadam 16/1 NRNB

    Foxhunters: Paint The Clouds 7/1

    Multiples:
    UDS 4/1 & Vautour 3/1 Double

Faugheen 5/4 & Sprinter Sacre 3/1 Double, both NRNB

A few more to add (some id forgotten about)...

    Supreme: Tell Us More

    Novice Handicap Chase: Keltus 16/1

Coral Cup: Arbre De Vie 16/1

    Champion Bumper: Moon Racer 12/1

    Pertemps: Edeymi 10/1 & Big Easy 12/1

Ryanair: Hidden Cyclone & Tarquin Du Seuil, both 16/1

    World Hurdle: Abbsyial ew 40/1

    Triumph: Top Notch 10/1

County Hurdle: Wicklow Brave ew 33/1

Win Double: Paint The Clouds 4/1 & Ned Buntline 10/1

There's too many Mullins animals in the above portfolio, in all honesty, but was more than happy with each price was placing individual bets and still happy with it overall.

Have a few nice ones but a couple of other long shots that went south:

    Supreme - Douvan 9/2, Jollyallen 25/1
    Arkle -- UDS 5/1
    Bumper -- Bordoni 20/1
RSA -- Kings Palace 10/1 (don't necessarily think he'll win)
Triumph -- Peace and Co 9/2
Gold Cup -- Carlingford Lough 33/1

3/6 not too bad. Ante Post can be such a lottery though. I was lucky that a few of them stayed in one piece/and or went down the route I guessed.
