Heater blower - 2002 Renault Clio

The heater in the OH's 2002 Clio has (almost) stopped working.

The fan is working OK however, heat is practically non existent from it. You can get a bit of warmth if all vents, bar one, are closed.

I've never had to troublehoot one of these before so looking for some advice. Only thing I checked so far was that the fuses were all OK.

Don't mind swapping it out with a spare from a breakers but just want to confirm there isn't an easier way to fix it. Thanks.

Edit: Forgot to mention; OH mentioned the floor on the drivers side was wet prior to the heater not working. Could this have been from the heater matrix?

Sounds the exact same as the issue i had with a 96 Mondeo.

Wet floor (passenger side only), no heat from the vents, fan working fine, etc. The heater matrix was leaking, badly. Took out the matrix, flushed the system, swapped out the matrix, topped up coolant, and all working fine.

If your floor is wet and the fan is working on all settings then i'd say it's the matrix.
