People who mix up the words "floor" and "ground". Drives me insane!

If it's outside and there's grass growing on it, that's the ground. Inside, covered in carpet? That's the floor.

    What about the ground floor?

Everyone knows at least one of these. Even here I can think of one or two who's usual contribution to a thread is just some poison. You'd wonder if they have any happiness at all in their lives.

I don't like people who don't acknowledge when someone has spoken to them. I saw one man just not bother answering a subordinate the other day, as if he wasn't worth the words. I can never like him now that I know he treats people like that. Same with people who just don't acknowledge wait staff or checkout operators etc. It costs nothing to be polite.

People who are so needy they crave constant validation for how wonderful they are. It's most evident on Facebook with their posts about their latest achievement/ day out with their kids/ some selfless good deed. The constant fishing for compliments is so pathetic, and completely turns me off them.

Anyone who mentions the following phrases in their conversation talking about the way they do business:
Brought him to his knees on price.
Wrapped them around my finger with a deal like that.
    They're a captive audience.
If there really is a problem they can talk to my solicitor

People who park right beside you in an otherwise empty car park.

People with no kids who use the parent and child parking, when there are plenty of other spaces available.
