5W30 Engine Oil - Best Price

Couldn't find anything recent so new post as per below:

Anyone aware of any good offers on 5W30 engine oil? Currently on the market for 6 litres for my Volvo S60 (takes 5.5 litres I believe) and saw 5l of the Mobil Super 3000 in Halfords for €27.59 as per below:

Anyone aware of any better value offers out there either online or in motor factos around the Dublin 1, 7, 15 areas. MicksGarage has 4l of the Castrol Magnatec for €29.95 as per below:

Probably not, but then again Mobile Super 3000 is nothing special as far as the engine oil engineering goes. If price is what you are after then this is as good as you will get I'd say.

IF you are willing to buy in bulk you can get a 20L container of Castrol Edge for around 150 quid...

I've got the best value from http://www.mister-auto.ie/en/engine-oil/castrol-14d79b_g3224_a20714D79B.html for Castrol Edge at around €10 per litre. I couldn't see any VAG dealer coming close to this. I've never got anything for a reasonable price from a VAG dealer. Maybe it's just me.

Bought a litre the other day for €11 to keep in the boot from a VAG dealer. So with postage it's more expensive but it does save the journey to a garage.

The 1l is a separate bottle.
Its sent fast track with free shipping.
Interesting how continental bottles seem to be 5l while uk/ ireland are 4 litre.

To my knowledge Micksgarage are the cheapest in Ireland for online motor oil. Unless you do not mind buying off Amazon who from time to time have special deals on oils as well. Irrespective of that they have good selection from Mobil1, Castrol, Petronas, Repsol, Shell and Coma so you always will find the required spec oil in a good price. Shipping to Ireland is free which always helps.

Bought a load of parts & service gear in the last two weeks of Mick's Garage. They were doing a deal on Castrol Edge. 4l for €29.95. Cannot see it on their site now though.

Found it. That's €7.50 per litre.
