Fast becoming my fav event is Dundalk. So let me jinx the following horses for ye

    6.05 Acroleina
    6.35 bubbly belinni
7.05 Charlie bear (dying to see if he can reproduce)
    7.35 surrey pink
    8.05 Etaad
    8.35 sar oiche
    9.05 worth avenue

As usual with Friday night racing you cannot mention Dundalk without the infamous Tom Dooley being mentioned. Close last time but traffic in the way however at 9/4 thanks but no thanks.

    Enjoy.

Henderson double in Fakenham, Medieval Chapel and Clean Sheet. Both 8/11 now.

Opened up odds against with Betfair Sportsbook, they are good for any early prices the past while. When mentioned the other day was it worth to get an account with them, then it is. 6/5 and 11/10 they opened, 20e bet on them at early prices returns 92e. 20e bet on prices now returns 60e. Nice difference!

14.40 Lingfield. Culloden. Outclassed on debut in a class 2 but this is a weak maiden and with a little improvement, should be up to winning this. Hope to get 6 or 7/1

I fancy Broughton at Sandown for no other reasons other than that I had a soft spot for the horse when he was with Johnston, as well as having taken pretty well to the jumps.

Ye I really fancy broxbourne my self.
Really good effort last time over a trip that was always on the short side and today's ground will hopefully be pretty good.

That's information you've gotten for Hannon's, Botti's and O'Brien's, very impressive. Is it the same source?

In a race that Nicholls farms.Broxbourne 4/1 to come up the hill after 21/2m based on breeding not for me.8.05 Dundalk settle for red 12/1pp is way overpriced IMO.in the last at sandown twojayslad 12/1 .first time in handicap and bred to relish the conditions.

Betfair Sportsbook opened @ 16/1 on this yesterday evening.

Another example of them having a big early price.

    2/1 now like

Olivers horse Elouge is thrown in the 20.35 tonight, never runs a bad race and with the baby faced assassin on board, what can possibly go wrong!!

    Pearls Legend 11-2 ew 4.15
I like this one. Ran two good races lately, unlucky in both.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,342 ✭✭✭Whosthis

Benevolent makes it home in third by virtue of not being quite as bad as the rest.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,896 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

    Desert Apostle 33-1 ew 5.15
I like this for a place. Ran decent race over c&d 3 back , back to this trip here with good draw.

    4th . A TAD OFF A PLACE .

Info was more about an individual horse or owner with Hannon and Botti, I'd have no general info from those yards though.
O'brien yard I get most info from. Few connections there. But info is obvious mostly, getting told to back a 13-8 in a grade one is not info . I've told source that I need info on horses yet to show their colors though. So hopefully I get some. That horse tonight is suppose to be beating higher rated horses at home. I'd take such claims with a pinch of salt though.
I HAVE 50 WIN ON IT THOUGH.

Eh, that'll be because of the non runners, including the prospective Evens favourite.

she's no joke in the 8.35,yard fancy it to go close.hit the bar the last two runs but is a course and distance winner.small wager to boost chelts kitty!

Took a speculative chance on the long standing, unreliable maiden Catalpa in the opener. Not sure how well handicapped the whole field are and he was only beaten a length behind Rigid Rock a few starts back. Unexposed at the trip he could outrun his odds

No joy but not a bad bet. Backed it at a BSP of 60 traded at 4/1

Connection has 1500 on Sea of Blue .
    Makes my 50 look silly.
Or maybe I'll lose way less !
I was on last night at 8 .
Means nothing unless it wins .

    I've had 1000 on a horse before, won .

Last bet of this rotten day, 8:05 - Etaad surprisingly at 12/1 which looks quite high on the back of two decent runs at Wolverhampton. Tom Dooley a well handicapped threat though, especially after looking decent last week before the pilot madee a pig of things.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,896 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Yea, ran very poorly . Market would suggest info was good though.
Very disappointing run . Any excuses? Didn't break the best, ended up 3 from last , they set off at fast pace up front, ducked in and out, never hit full speed, horse tended to ride into back of others, had to be corrected twice, never got down to work until it was to late.
    Glad I had only 50 on .

I feel bad now for posting it.

    What you trying to say?

The red on betfair out to 19/5? Which is still shorter than many of the prices bookies had at the time, of course many on at good prices were gonna lay once it hit them prices for a free bet for themselves.

Wasn't a massive drifter on exchange by any means either.

That is a silly comment. If you've ever been to Coolmore, then you will know just how big the operation is and how many people are involved.
