Stephen Hawkings best friend in The Theory of Everything.
    Paul Crosley in Manhattan

    ........and

    Viserys Targaryen in GOT

Watched TTOE tonight and straight away remembered him from Manhattan
While on the IMDB forums everyone mentioned recognising him from GOT.
I was thinking to myself, WhoTF was he in GOT????

Viserys!!! The Blond hair totally threw me and him being dead for so long :D

I recognised him more as the weirdly possessed alien in Doctor Who

Never would have realised Saul was Inigo Montoya!

Seems obvious now looking at pictures, but I remember being amazed at the time when I realised

There was a terrible movie on RTE 1 last Saurday night called "Last Dance" with Sharon Stone in it.

I knew I recognised the lead male actor from somewhere and a quick google told he me was Rob Morrow who played Dr Joel Fleischmann in the brilliant 90's series "Northern Exposure".

Not obvious at all but he's also the voice of the father and son with the really strong accents in Pixar's Brave, supoosedly actually pretty close to his own real accent.

Something I only realised a couple of years ago when watching the 1971 Sam Pekinpah move Straw Dogs is that Jim Norton aka Bishop Brennan.

Is the thug who gets battered to death with a golf club by Dustin Hoffman in that movies climax.

Peter Jackson was the Santa that stabbed Simon Pegg in the hand, at the start of Hot Fuzz. And Cate Blanchette was his forensic examiner girlfriend.

At the end of Speed, Howard Payne (Dennis Hopper) takes over a LA Subway train, shooting the driver. He couldn't have died, though, since he later turns up in the White House: Richard Schiff played Toby Ziegler in The West Wing.

Seemed like everyone turned up on Star Trek eventually. Dwight Schultz, who played "Howlin' Mad" Murdock in The A-Team, became Lt. Barclay in ST:TNG, ST:Voyager, and the First Contact movie.

From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch’.

Rodger Loyd Pack aka Trigger in Only Fools pops up in a few scenes of early 70s costume drama The Go Between.I think he might not have had any dialogue or very little,he was basicly an extra.
