Mine a very well known Irish name but not particularly common, I'd imagine it was more popular years and years and yeeeeaaaars ago. Not so much now, but I like it :)

I love my name, its Irish, but easy to pronounce. It's very uncommon so no surprise its not listed.

Ha, here is a trivial pursuit thing re names for ya....

There is a girl's name. And if anyone knows a girl/woman with this name you can near enough guarantee their DOB to within two or three years.

    It begins with a C.

    Anyone have a guess?

(it's not recent, but not too distant past either, maybe a Mammy's name??)

Where are the names Mel, and Ultan gone?

    And Cornelius, nearly forgot!

My name isn't on the list. It's never on lists. I never get personalised keyrings or the like.
That being said, my sister in law has a best friend with the same first name as me. I also met a woman years ago who had it but she spelt it differently (incorrectly! :p)
My first name is Greek (it means 'leafy' for those who might be curious) and my surname is French but as far back as I have gone in my family tree, my ancestors are all Irish. I've never met anybody else unrelated to me with my surname at home or abroad.

I love my name. I can't see it ever becoming popular though as it's as uncommon now as it's ever been from what I can tell.

    Your name is Phyllis?

My name not there, never is.
I have only ever met two people with my name, spelt differently though.

Freaks me out tbh, its weird meeting people with the same name as me!

37 registrations for my name over the 10 years of the study, so I guess it's no longer popular..... there are 3 of us with the same first name in my office, which is a first for me!

Named our daughter Maya in 2001, and it turns out there are two Mayas in her montessori class and three Mayas in her dance class! 2/12 and 3/15!!

Named second one Lexie in 2013, and now I hear it's on the top 100.

I guess I am not as strange as I thought I am!

    No.

When you hear the name.... you will say. Feck, that is so old fashioned. But many have that name today just the same. Just born a little back in time so to speak.

The unstoppable decline of Ciaran continues. I'll have to become World famous to get it moving up the list again.

Found a couple of names that have only appeared in the last couple of years:
11 "Arya"s have joined us - clearly Game of Thrones fans.
    I can't explain the 5 "TJ"s though!
