I'm sure the mods will move if they want. Massdrop don't do computer components as they've just informed me, so hopefully hardwareversand can help us out

I think it's more like they don't do computer items from the UK, as they have stuff from the US. Probably because shipping would knock a lot off any savings.

might be a better idea for bargain requests forum!

Flubit might be a better way to go if folk got together and put in a request for a certain amazon item at the same time.

Forgot about this. Massdrop have said they don't deal with components as the margins are so thin its not worthwhile, I'm still waiting on Hardwareversand to reply to me

do sabs or komplett do anything for mass orders?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,397 ✭✭✭✭Digital Solitude

Dabs are €30 or something more expensive than hwvs so I didn't even try there. Myself and the komplett site don't agree so I couldn't check prices, but I'd assume they're similar to dabs

I was reading this thread and it got me wanting an ssd , so I was looking at amazon.fr and spotted

    this

    http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00P73B1E4/ref=s9_acsd_al_ft_sfg_r0_1_t?pf_rd_m=A1X6FK5RDHNB96&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=1VZ6X5KMT3W07PK7KWYK&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_p=580671587&pf_rd_i=1000845383

and looking down the page it looks like samsung are giving a 50 euro rebate as well so brings the price of the drive to 145 euro if I am reading it correctly (use google chrome to translate).

    only for French residents unfortunately
