I have an enchanting table and bookshelves ready to go. Any suggestions for a location? I was off for a few days, but I have a little underground farm and mine setup going. No house yet.

Would be worth building a farm there anyway, either just for loot or for XP as well. Guardians make excellent XP farms, and it's nowhere near as difficult to build farms now as it used to be as you don't need to clear the entire monument of water. Relatively cheap too apart from all the hoppers you need. Here's a good tutorial I found on Youtube:

I saw that video too while chatting to Scuttlebutt about this, given the properties of magma and soul sand it wouldn't be that much more difficult flipping the design on its head with a riser column instead leading to a near-lethal dropshaft and easy Mass XP Grinder instead of the AFK platform. Taking iron block donations for the top-tier beacon we'll need for said farm to run smoothly... stop looking at me that way, we need way less hoppers this way! :pac:

Found the woodland mansion. It was, no joke, 50 minutes of traveling from the village.

Minecraft Realms gives us the option of switching to minigame maps (while still keeping all our progress on our main world) - if anyone's keen to try that out just let me know

Server appears to be down Looks like sleeping out a thunderstorm crashed it

EDIT: Now back up, appears to have suffered some level of corruption as the server has rolled back an hour or two :eek:

Christ, that's odd. Realms does automatic backups every 6 hours or so but I doubt that helps anything.

Folks I have made an XP bank deep underground in my base. If anyone is finding it too laggy, please let me know and I'll happily rip it out.

Also, anyone is welcome to use it! Go down the main stairs in my cave, along the grass path, and then down the ladder. Would recommend turning block sound to zero in your settings, it is verrry loud. To harvest the XP, just hit the lever, remove something from the furnaces, and then turn the lever back.
