Yes us too in St Anne's, horrible morning this morning but we still had 170 out braving the elements.

Impressed at you getting up on your hols for park run Anna, well done :)

Fair play to you A, sounds like it was a miserable morning there.

I know, it's a whole new form of sightseeing

I'm afraid to look at my mileage for November... probably about a week's worth! I could pretend that I've deliberately taken a month off after DCM, but that would be a lie. I could make the excuse that I've been working long hours (true) blah, blah... but it would just be an excuse. I need to get back on a plan and into the running habit!

    Week of November 16
Tuesday 17th: 38 minutes early morning
    6.5K @ 5:54
Don't remember much about this other than I finally dragged myself out of bed at 6:15 or so and did this before work in the dark along the sea front. It was a lovely morning and I felt great after it, and scolded myself for not doing this more often... haven't done it since though!

    Thursday 19th: 7:00Km @ 6:13
Met up with aquinn after work for this, did a loop of Griffith Avenue, Mobhi Road and Clonliffe Rd...

Saturday 21-Sun 22 -- lots of good intentions that went nowhere :p

    Week of November 23

    Thursday 26th: 60 mins easy, 9.66km @ 6:14

Nice run with aquinn out to wooden bridge and back. Warm evening, we were glad of the cooling breeze when we turned around for home. Stomach had been a bit iffy all day, but felt fine running. At least I didn't let a full week go by without getting out.

And garmin is finally registering Dublin 3 as a place that is not Kilkeel. My longest continuous run since DCM and the legs felt it the next day. Pathetic or what.

Saturday, 28th: Dublin 1 running (the residents of Drumcondra would not like that demotion)
    6.7 Km @ 5:47/Km

The weather wasn't as bad as it looked, nice run through Dublin 9 with aquinn, a little pacier than usual, which was very enjoyable. If it wasn't for A, I'd probably have no mileage to report at all!

    MTD: 64Km/40 mi :o
    YTD: 1,841 Km/1,144 Mi :D

Unfortunately I still have to rock up and see as they went out two weeks in what I also thought would be a cancellation.

Oh no, I'm on my own tomorrow!!!

We realised today that aquinn is actually on a mission to improve the health and safety practices at Clontarf sailing club... Testing them in new ways every week :pac:

Hahaha, I'd be a great triathlete if I could swim or cycle :D

One of these Saturdays I'm getting the parkrun pass. Will we see you at jingle bells or will you be in Waterford on cheerleading duty?

Ok, it's a new month, No-run-vember is over, time to do better.

Wednesday, Dec 2: 40 mins fairly easy with 6 x 20-30 secs strides
    4.2 mi @ 9:43; 6.9 Km @ 6:02

Wanted to run yesterday after work, but of course got delayed leaving work and my window was gone... So I set the alarm for 6 this morning... by about 6:15, I finally convinced myself to get out of bed and eventually out the door, still half asleep.

Turned the first corner and a gale force blast of wind woke me right up and blew my hat off... only sprint of the morning to retrieve it.

Stayed inland and the wind wasn't too bad, very mild morning. Nice hill up Mobhi Rd to get me focused on form. Did my strides counting trees on Griffith Avenue.

Really wanted to go back to bed when I got home... :p

Ha ha love it No-run-vember :)

I think DCM might have had the same affect on you as me, I feel like I'm beginning to come out of hibernation, very slowly though.

    Nice session on Wednesday :)
