Well done Anna! You looked very in control & comfortable, a well deserved pb after a good bank of training, hope the football is going better..

Passed the 9k marker going round the corner back towards the town, then saw Hillside Runner again... and heard a slightly delayed chorus of 'Come on Anna'... found out later that Firedance, Bungy and Laura were also there but I didn't see them at all.

We were all too busy discussing whether ecoli/ii could really have come 3rd/4th with a broken shoulder . Looking at the results, seems not, and he has a lookalike on the running circuit.

I was pleased to spot you first the second time! Myself and Laura missed lots of people at the 3k stage because we were just across the road from where the medical incident happened. Good to hear forum-wide she is ok.

You looked very cheerful at both sightings.... Denis also looked quite comfortable. But we got a bit of silent-swearing from another runner ;)

Well done on that. I was hopeful but turns out I was on the wrong side of the castle ....

Just looked at my stats for the week, and I'm about 2 miles short of the target 30... groan... I'm actually considering changing back into the running gear...

...then again I could just have my dinner and a lovely PB glass of wine... decisions, decisions.... (ok, I admit it, not really... just a slight feeling of guilt and underachievement :))

I think you should definitely get out and do those two miles. Could be awful for you down the line.

I, surprisingly enough, don't silently swear

Congrats Anna! What do you reckon caused the feeling of weakness at the start? I think I get a bit of that myself... wonder is it just nervous energy or something?

Thanks J, dunno really, I hadn't been feeling very energetic all week, so I think that was it... I was worried I mightn't be able for it... or maybe I was too calm, I was very zen before the start :)
