Good Glue to Bond Plastic?

I'm looking to glue on my towing eye covers on the front and back of my E60.

Can anyone recommend a glue that will bond well? Preferably something that will bond well on the plastics, but can also ultimately be prised off with a plastic tool if needs be.

Hot melt glue from a gluegun.

Araldite is about the strongest stuff i've used, but not sure on where you stand if they need to come off.

They have a huge selection and even a product selector menu on their site. Give it a try.

Thanks guys, just looking for something that will bond well given I'm gluing plastic.

I can always use a strong tar and glue remover and a plastic tool to prise it off if car ever needs to be towed.

So what's my best bet in terms of a glue or adhesive that will bond well with the plastic?

The thing is that if you're broken down on a motorway and there's a recovery guy trying to pull the car up on to a truck, he won't be delighted when you go looking for the tar/glue remover and plastic tool :-)

I abso-bloody-100 million percent-lutely would not give a flying f#ck what he thinks. He either wants the business or he doesn't. If that presents too much of a challenge for him lads, he's in the wrong job.

To be honest with you, I can just imagine some guy pulling me on that if I was broken down.... I don't think it'd go well.

Most of the strong glues will put marks from the bonding process around the edges of the plastic, this will give a welding like appearance and look sheite. I also think with strong glues the plastic will shatter before it will seperate.

2 small dabs of something rubber based will hold it while making it easy to remove also
