    I think if EK163 misses the next approach it will divert to Manchester - as they will have EK crew + groundstaff there.

    Jesus Christ!! I'm just back from collecting my daughter from a house in Balgriffin and saw that EK coming in. I've never seen a plane move so much on approach. I'm surprised he didn't pull up earlier. Couldn't have been nice for the pax

    afaik they are handled by Aer Lingus in Dublin so assumably they could sort them out in Shannon too...

    Swiss port handle both now, Aer lingus handled Etihad until monday gone now swissport have both

    Theres a BinAir metro 23 inbound from bristol. Don't see a lot of metroliners around dublin.

    It's an odd little design that made more sense when I learned that Ed Swearingen had intended the fuselage, with its pointy nose and swept tail, to also be the basis of a Learjet-category business jet.

    The earlier pre-III models were so poor in climb rate that they were certificated with a tail-mounted rocket.
