Sudden? The wind was a 4kt tailwind at 18:30, (and was probably at 18:00 too) yet they operated for another 45mins, I don't call that sudden.

    Reign it in pal.

Anyone know why a Thomson 757 is doing the DUB-IBZ flight instead of the Sunwing 737's?

My Aeroweather app is reporting fog in the vicinity of DUB AP.
That'd cause a bit of havoc.

Id assume the Sunwing 737 has a technical problem of some sort, that seems the most likely.

A Thomson 757 is an interesting replacement!

Coasting in over Sligo is G-YMML operating BAW97A LHR-Houston, which is returning to LHR. The same aircraft operating the same flight on Monday gone also returned to LHR. Houston, we have a problem.... (sorry, had to say it)

The 737 had a 2 hour delay earlier so I assume it's now out of service to get fixed up.

That's not a significant tailwind on a dry runway, but when it starts to cause problems they switch.

I mean the decision to change was very sudden.Planes on approach and 2 holding short. They normally plan these changes a bit more ahead than that.

Very strange alright. You think they would plan a change quicker with the wind forecasting in favour of RWY10.

Private plane into Knock, haven't seen one myself before, is it Enda :phttp://www.flightradar24.com/GLEX/6aece4e

NetJets CS-GLC flight NJE138P from Luton, looks like an empty positioning for a later outbound.

Knock is closed since around 19:00-19:30, so I'd imagine so.

Just spotted these two flying close (different heights though) over Sandyford, inbound to Dublin. Picture isn't great but it was a nice sight to see as they are never usually stacked like that over this way.

    AFR1016 first and BEE9FB behind

pic is way to big so I just left the link

Given the amount of Americans stationed in Ramstein, highly likely to be American service personnel but not necessarily all troops.

Nothing logged from my location but if it went straight out west onto the Atlantic I probably wouldn't have caught it.

I'm guessing it's due to whatever's going on in Israel.

Sorry fr, I meant to quote your post not mine. Stupid phone :)
