I hate that word, I thought it was another version of go hallain for ages! I figured out it wasnt when staying in a B&B in Galway and I told the Bean an tí that her bricfeasta was go huafásach!

    Anyway EI507 has landed

Wind at Dublin : 24kts (No gust available)
Thats because there are no gusts :):) Giving the wind strength without the direction is pointless, in this case the direction is 250 degrees so the crosswind strength for RWY28 is 10 kts. Try downloading an APP like Aeroweather, it will help you in the future.

    Have Aeroweather app.

    Wind at DUB: 250 degrees at 20kts. RWY10/28 has crosswind of 10kts and a head/tailwind of 17kts.

Two EI A320s made a southeasterly turn after takeoff from DUB. I see ATRs do it a lot but it's not common to see A320s do it. Presumably they were avoiding weather.

Anyway, it was a great view :)

There's a DEXEN departure off 28 that has a left turn following a similar route, though is only used at certain times when the relevant eastbound airway is open.

No clue to be honest, it blew on the lead in line to the stand, there's construction works going on directly behind the stands on the apron so at the moment we're guessing FOD. It happened at 10am this morning, engineers were checking it out today and the report should be in by tomorrow
