Is a 747 not over doing it?
Not for the PRC where showing off is part and parcel of the political system.
This guy is the PRC #2, equivalent to Joe Biden VP.

Knock like Sligo used to take an order for ham and cheese toasties over the radio.

    They were delicious:)

Any idea why there is a Qatar airways plane at Dublin this morning?

looks like a 340 but I can't tell as I cant get a good look at it. It is parked in T2 next to the Omni air 767 and there's a great selection there at the moment with all the American planes beside them.

Is painting something that is done at most large airports or does Dublin specialise in this?

Headed-off north-west this morning out of Prestwick around 05:30. Operated by Hangar 8 as part of their 'Jet Club' charter service.

Just depends what aircraft maintenance/painting contractors are based at certain airports & the contracts they have with certain airlines.

Sometimes. Dodging Cb's all day isn't fun. But there's a great feeling of satisfaction of testing your skills against nature. Within company limits of course:D

You're only as good as your last landing! If it's a good one I'll get out the cargo door as my head won't fit out the pax door:D:D:D
